Booked via VRBO. I received a message that they are affiliated with Expedia, and I usually only book with Expedia. Communication was just okay. I had some questions and there was a lag between sending a message and getting a response. Received a message confirming my reservation two days before we arrived. I noticed that the reservation did not include our dog, so I reached out to the host asking about it. He asked about our pet. I gave him the information and he agreed to us bringing our pet. Charged me a pet deposit, I paid it. There were no messages about the roof being replaced while we were there. It was loud and inconvenient. We didn’t complain. The condo was beautiful but the spare bedroom had twin beds. Way too small of beds, but we didn’t complain. The instructions said that we were to put trash bags in the bench outside the unit. Instructions said it was picked up daily Monday through Friday. Put bags in there on Monday, by Wednesday evening they were still there. Called the number for the property manager that our host left us, didn’t want to bug our host if it wasn’t necessary. Checked out today at 9:30am. Received a message asking about dog hair left behind. I had to remind the host that we talked about the pet, he approved it with notes to keep our dog off the furniture. We brought her canopy bed. We cleaned the unit, washed dishes and put them away. Started the towels in the laundry, like asked. There wasn’t much for them to clean. Disappointed.
