House was nice, very clean upon arrival, kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils, beds were comfortable and plenty of pool towels provided. The living room areas lacked lighting though. There was one table lamp in one living room that was just sitting on the floor, and the other living room had no lighting except from the dining room. Neither one had any coffee or end tables, which was odd because there was no place to put anything, when sitting in those rooms. Carpet on stairs and living room desperately need cleaning. That being said, I don’t think it’s a bad house, I just want to point it out to the owners for the next person’s stay. Property manager was very prompt and polite when we had contacted her with questions. Would recommend this house.

Family vacation

Overall the house is cute but not very welcoming to me. One picture on the wall was broke, the carpet had stains all over it, there were random cups to drink from like shot glasses, wine glasses, small small glasses, stuff was broke like the washer, which yes it got fixed, but then the dryer did not dry, the kitchen floor had huge gaps, no extra blankets for the pull out couch or even throw blankets. There were tiny tiny Bugs in the upstairs master bathroom. One room the fan nor light worked and it was super hot in there (we did get a small fan) the thermostat had to stay at 72 which always read 75 to 76 in the house. There was hair everywhere, we found a huge hair ball in the corner of one of the rooms, hair on the pillows, there was also not even really any bath towels for showers. The neighborhood is a nice gated place but we have a huge van which did not fit in the garage and could barely fit in the driveway. Overall yes the house is cute and needs a little TLC to make it look more welcoming and I would probably stay again. We also did have contact with the property manager it was a nice lady that took care of the place which yes she was on things when my husband texted her she replied right back.

Nice family rental

House was very nice, had plenty of space for everyone, was nice to have both a family and living room. Property manager was excellent in handling a couple of issues that came about. Neighborhood was nice, gated and quiet, close proximity to everything.Pool area was very nice, a lot of room and loved the fact there was a half bath outside in the pool area.

Spacious Home with Amazing Pool and Hot Tub

The house was very spacious and had all the amenities my family and I needed. The heated pool and hot tub were fantastic, and everything was exceptionally clean. I highly recommend this property and definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

Florida in june

Having stayed in pool homes for the last 23 years and stayed on Westhaven many times. The most recent was in March 2025. We were impressed by by the location and the view of the conservation area. However after our 1st night we noticed that the bedding had a smell like it had not been dried straight away after washing. So we washed it again and it was fine. Also the pillows were well past the sell by date. We went to Walmart and got new ones. The home is for a maximum of 8 people. There are only 2 sun lounges around the pool but they are rusted away so bad that the legs on the front don’t touch the floor. Also what is very annoying is that there is no coffee table anywhere in the house. If you want to relax and watch TV there is nowhere to put your drink. On the second day I had to carry the one from the pool deck and put it inside.

Birthday Celebration

We rented this property to use while we celebrated my daughter-in-law‘s 25th birthday. There was seven adults and two children under two years old. The home isn’t a beautiful, gated neighborhood so security was never an issue. There was adequate living space and bedrooms for all of us. Our host, Caroline, was absolutely wonderful! She was very quick to respond to any questions and took action on any issues that came up. Our entire experience was was great and my daughter-in-law was very thankful for the surprise trip. We look forward to renting from Caroline again in the future.

The home was dirty. Beer bottle caps and cigarette butts by the pool. 2 bathrooms had no toilet paper, the water smells had to use bottle water to brush teeth. Had to take previous guests garbage out. Do not recommend & won’t stay again.

Nice House In a Nice Neighborhood

We stayed for a week in March of 2025 for a Disney World vacation. The pool was nice after long days at the different theme parks, we did have to add water to the pool once. I had to message the property manager about the pool issue and she was VERY quick to respond and dispatch someone to take care of the issue. It was resolved the next day. Beautiful home that is in need of a little bit of maintenance. Had a brand new sectional couch and the master bed was a very nice memory foam KING size mattress (Firm) Has a garage, but no electric opener, so we parked in the driveway. House wasn't as stocked as some previous VRBO rentals that I have stayed at. Would have loved to have extra towels and toilet paper as 6 people can go through alot in a week. Overall I would give this 4 out of 5 stars.

More maintenance

After my ten day stay at 1008 Balmoral dr the experience was bitter sweet, although my family and I made the best of it and enjoyed our vacation there were some mishaps and things I noticed that I would like to address. When first arriving, the house seemed cleaned. Upon further inspection we noticed that the bathrooms were poorly maintained. The rugs were stained and in need of replacement, 2 of the toilets had a ring of dirt in the toilet bowl including the tub in the master bedroom, and the waste bin in one of the bathrooms was broken. When we arrived on Saturday the 27th, the garbage pails that belonged to the house were already full. Not sure if the previous tenants failed to discard of the trash, however, we were left with a back-up of garbage during our entire stay. Again, we did our best, and managed the surplus of garbage. The pool’s filter was set on a timer which turned off at 8PM, and turned off the bubbles in the jacuzzi as well. This was not mentioned before hand. Also, when we arrived the pool and jacuzzi were both very dirty and it took a solid hour of cleaning before we allowed the kids to get in. The pools floor was also chipping around the entrance stairs. Being that the water is most shallow there, my 7 year old continued to scrape himself as he played in that area. So I went to inspect what exactly was scrapping him and it was in-fact small pieces of blue cement/pool flooring. One night as my spouse was using the toilet in the master bathroom

Davenport vacation

We were there for a high school spring break with my sister and her husband and three of our adult children and their significant others. Paid to have the pool heated because of the time of year. We had a wonderful time. Everything was great! Will definitely use this listing again. Thank you

Review

Overall, very clean and quiet neighbourhood, there were some things lacking and not properly posted. We could not use the pool or hot tub because there was an extra charge, this should have been mentioned in the listing, for certain times of the year, not adequate toilet paper for 5 people for a week as well as soap for bathrooms. The barbecue was dirty and the tank was empty, so we wanted to refill, but we had to pay for a new tank also. This should be checked by the property manager after each stay. Also the vent at the top of the stairs not cleaned full of dust, the Tvs did not have major networks, and most of the channels needed a subscription to watch, my passwords to get in some were at home. Beds were super comfortable, but the sheets very flimsy, and no mattress protector so every time we would get up had to put the sheet back on. This could cause a lot of bacteria on the bed..
