Spacious, well decorated, had plenty of room for what we needed during our week there, & in a quiet neighborhood. I have a hard time recommending this house, though. We had no hot water in the house for the first 24 hours. We paid the extra expense to have the pool heated. The pool was cool and cloudy, as if chemicals had not been used in quite a while. I requested a fix or a refund for the lack of pool heat & was ignored. The mesh covering over the patio was ripped, so bugs were getting in quite often. There were no kitchen towels or washcloths. None. We had to buy them before we cooked because the pots, pans, utensils, & plates in the cupboard were dirty and disgusting, so everything had to be pre-washed. The back two burners on the stove don't work. Dirt, candy, debris, wrappers, and someone’s old mouth guard could be seen on the carpets upon arrival. Our white socks quickly turned gray & black walking on the tile floors. A professional cleaning had not happened before our stay. The clothes dryer does not work & is a fire hazard. During its use many puffs of lint were flying up from the back of the machine, indicating a clogged vent. We ended up air-dying almost everything. Some of the downstairs TV remotes had no batteries. The main floor master has a ceiling light / fan combo that does not work. While these issues may seem small, we expected more. I realize this is someone’s income & livelihood. However, I cannot recommend this house the way it was during our stay.
