Easy location

Community pool was excellent. Home was clean. The bathrooms were a bit out dated with small leaks. Would return.

Family VACA

The ratio price for quality was oustanding. The property is in a really nice communty, the pool, the playroom and the facilities of the community were a plus to the fact that the property is very close to the parks.

Great location and lovely home

I enjoyed our stay at this residence. Our family of four travelled with our friends and their two children. All of the kids enjoyed the games room/play house. We swam in the pool almost every night and the kitchen was great to prepare meals with all the necessary utensils and dishes one could need. The house was clean and comfortable. We will definitely visit again.

An amazing week

We were celebrating birthdays and graduations. There were 11 of us. This home gave us so much space and having the pool right there was fantastic for the kids. The host was always available if we had questions or needed anything. The home was close to the Disney parks which made that convenient. Thank you again Elias!

Wonderful Family Vacation!

What a wonderful place to stay! My family flew in from several different states and we could not have been more happier with our accommodations while we were in Florida! We stayed at Storytime Kingdom and all of us loved it! What a huge place! We all had plenty of space to be together or have some alone time if desired. The kitchen was great for fixing some of our meals which was a much healthier choice than eating every meal in the parks. The location was awesome! Close to all parks, the airport, and a Costco! Elias (owner) was great at contacting me whenever I had questions and was extremely pleasant. I would recommend Story Time Vacation Homes to any family vacationing in Florida!

A perfect offsite Disney rental

Our large family really enjoyed our stay at Windsor Hills. We arrived late and were worried about checking in, but the attendant at the entrance was very helpful. We got to our house and inside with no issue. The house is very spacious and comfortable. We did pay to heat the pool and it was so worth it. We also enjoyed the amenities that are included within Windsor Hills (water park, playground, etc.) Check out was also extremely simple which was very appreciated when traveling with a big group and lots of kids. Communication with the owners was prompt and helpful. We would definitely recommend this property!

Absolutely magical!!

This home was the absolute perfect home for my family vacation! My family and I couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay here. The home was very clean and beautifully decorated. The location was unbelievably close to Disney as well. The kids went nuts for the themed rooms and they wouldn’t stop saying how they want their rooms at home to be the same. They loved playing in the game room and the pool when we weren’t at the parks. The furniture and beds were all super comfortable and the house was the perfect space for a large group. The gated community was also a great feature and everyone loved the resort amenities. The hosts were also very helpful and would answer any questions right away. We already are planning to return again to this home for our next vacation!! Highly recommend!!

Very pleased, would love to come back.

This is our family’s first time to stay in a vacation home. It is an amazing experience! There were plenty of amenities and household items which worked beyond perfect for our three families. The house was big enough for everyone to have some space-- when you needed a break from others, it was easy to enjoy your own time and space in your quiet and cool room. The house was in CLOSE reach to everything and offered MORE than what we had expected. Major highways, shopping, restaurants were round the corner and yes! Disney is about 12 minutes drive. After a busy day in the parks, the pool/Spa and theatre provided great space for relaxation. This house helped us have a great vacation!!! We will definitely return!!!

Big Family Disney Trip

Our family of 12 (grandparents, siblings, and kids ages 0-15) rented this for a week while we enjoyed Disney and Universal and loved it! The space was clean and the owners were very responsive to questions we had during the week and resolved a few items within 24 hours—we were impressed! The kids loved using the pool on our days “off”—it was a little chilly the week we were there (January 27-February 4), so we were glad to have added the pool heat to our reservation. Nice big space to accommodate everyone and give individual families their privacy and good sleep. The nearby Walmart was also handy. This was our first time staying off Disney property, and all agreed it was worth it! Much more economical, as we packed lunches and only paid for the food we really wanted in the parks. The cost of a VRBO was less than half of what it would have cost us to book and stay at a Disney resort, plus everyone had extra space to move and play—especially helpful for families with littles under age 5. We would rent again!

The home had many broken features, there is a huge water leak in kitchen exposed, front burner doesn’t work, back door is terrible. Bathroom caulking in all bathrooms was awful. The listing appears to be new and when you get there it’s not. Deceiving. No hot water in 2 baths. Roaches in master. I don’t recommend this place. I would highly recommend fixing items before renting it back out

Great week, great house

The pictures don't lie. What you see is what you get -- a home with enough space for an extended family and enough character rooms to keep the kids smiling. My wife and I stayed at Story Time Castle with our four kids (ages 5, 3, 2, and 8 months) along with her parents. Two of our boys stayed in the "Cars" room. Our lone daughter stayed in the "Princess" room (which she still talks about). Our baby slept in a crib in another room. We had a bedroom to spare; tons of space! We had wondered if we would feel we were missing out on anything by not staying at the WDW resort. Turns out, the only thing we missed out on was hanging with too many tourists and spending extra $$ for overpriced food. Considering this place is only 10 minutes away from the parks, there is absolutely no reason to stay anywhere else. You've got all the appliances you need to set up shop and make it your home. The only hiccup during the trip was that the pool heater did not work. Since it was April, the water was a tad too chilly to swim. The home owner was very communicative about the heater, informing us when we got there that it did not function properly. Since it costs extra $$/day to use the heater, I did not feel like I lost something I paid for. The community pool was nice and heated; the kids enjoyed that experience. We are already talking about our next Disney trip. Whenever it is, we will certainly look to stay here again. Thanks to the owners of Story Time Castle for a great week.

Cockroaches Were The Icing On The Cake

We were very excited to stay at this property. The pictures on the listing looked amazing. Please don’t be fooled like we were. I took pictures of my own, but can't post here:( Pros: Close in proximity to Disney properties Big community kids friendly pool Cons: *Dirty house ->floors, doors, and cabinets were all dirty. Found a pill on the floor, used Q-tips left in the shower along with other items throughout. *Broken, uncomfy furniture ->The chairs had wobbly legs, were missing cushion support and were falling apart. The coffee table was bowed in the middle. They appeared to be picked up from the side of the road. *Flooded 1st floor bedroom after hard rain ->The closet floor in the 1st floor bedroom was soaked along with all of our luggage. *3 inch cockroach in bathroom ->we also saw a few scatter in the playroom *Unsafe slide ->The slide is bolted to a wooden box that is stacked on another because the slide is not long enough to reach the floor *Not kept up ->Broken light switches, old, peeling decorations, no light bulbs in fixtures, clocks with dead batteries, wallpaper torn off wall, peeled stickers all over *Suits smelled like sewage after swimming in the house pool *Laundry room ->Washer gets very loud when draining and moves all across the floor, has poor ventilation making room humid and a wet, slick floor *The key pad number 0 falls out making entering the code almost impossible to enter if lost *Check-in took 45+ minutes in a single car lane

The location of the house was great! Walmart was only a few miles away and Disney was only a short drive away. House is spacious enough for a big family with small children. the playroom was a big hit !!

This house was within 5 minutes of Walmart and great food choices. We were within 15-30 min of Disney resorts and theme parks. The house was spacious and very welcoming as far as what we needed. Something's do need updated or minor things did not work but we made do. The host was quick to respond with any questions.

Yearly family vacation

Perfect. Everything about this property was a 10/10. Location was very close to the major attractions. The house was fantastic. We had 6 adults and 5 kids in our group, plenty of room for everyone. The pool was a great hit withe the kids. The location of this home, within Windsor Hill resort was perfect walking distance to the club house and play grounds. The owner was quick to respond to my questions, even when i texted her later in the evening. I definitly recommend staying here.

Good for children

The place was conveniently close to many stores, restaurants, disney, etc. The home is a bit dated and could use a bit of refreshing in many areas. We did enjoy it though and would recommend the area. I'm not sure why there is no barbeque at the home but it would have been great to have. I asked and we could have used a community one. No thanks. All the neighbors do have them.

Unfortunately the pool had not been filtered for our first night stay, thus the water was disgusting. It cleared up somewhat after they turned the filter on the following morning but no one wanted to swim in the dirty water.The playroom was dirty upon arrival and we had to sweep up leftover food from previous guest. The foosballtable was broken and one of the controllers was broken for the air hockey. The placement of the property was nice.

Was enough room to fit our family and close to all the disney attractions. Kids loved the game room.Does need repairs as ceiling was leaking in downstairs bathroom. Did pay extra for pool to be heated which was not worth the money as pool did not get warm until 5 days into 7 day stay.

Very cute, lots of space, could use some updates/repairs

Overall, we are happy we stayed here. The decorations/themed bedrooms are great, there is a ton of space, and Windsor Hills is in a great location. That being said, the cleaning (floors esp) could have been better, there were multiple broken things (bathroom fans, garbage disposal, bedroom door locks), and there was room for improvement (more cooking supplies, various painting/repairs). These things were minor and we still enjoyed and appreciated the house. We did not use the pool, due to cold weather, but did notice the lack of privacy as the pool area is directly next to the backyard neighbor's pool area and the side street. Having a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, full kitchen, and plenty of bedrooms to spread out made this house a nice experience.

Great Place

We enjoyed the house a lot. I have a little girl and she absolutely loved playing in the play house and the pool. Perfect for a big group. The owners were easy to work with.
