Apartments in Orient Bay for Rent

"We arrived before check-in and was greeted very warmly. We were told we could use the beach chairs or have lunch while we waited for our room and they would text us when the room was ready. They did not text us as promised but we had promptly gone to the front desk at 4pm and were given our room key (so the room had been ready but we weren't contacted). The main hostess at the restaurant was not very friendly with us. She literally ignored me for more than 5 minutes while I waited to reserve a table for lunch, walking by me several times ignoring multiple "Excuse Me"'s that I said to her. Americans who are used to saying Hello as a formal greeting rather than the European Good Morning or Good Day will be received coldly. The beach allows smoking, so anyone sitting downwind from a smoker will have their fresh sea air ruined with cigarette smoke. We aren't sure why there isn't a smoking section since it seems it would be easy to accommodate. Of course, this leads to cigarette butts being littered all over the beach. Gross! Our room was very clean and the front area staff were great. The bathroom is an open, Italian style shower concept with no glass, so water gets everywhere when you shower. Mild annoyance. The village is just minutes away walking and offered great food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overall, it was a great stay."

"I had a wonderful experience living in this apartment. The space is clean, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of natural light that makes it feel warm and inviting. The building itself is well-maintained,the location is incredibly convenient, few minutes driving to shops, and restaurants. The neighborhood also feels safe and welcoming, which was important to me.One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful ocean view, along with the excellent management team. They were friendly, responsive, and truly cared about the residents’ experience.Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-managed place to live."

"La Villa Habiscus was fantastic. We stayed there for 2 weeks on our first vacation with our little one (5 months) and we could not have chosen a better spot. The room was large, clean and had a full kitchen that we used to cook many meals. Julie, the GM, was very attentive and accomodating. There was also a pool located just outside our suite that was very convenient for when we wanted to spend time at the hotel. The location was fantastic. It was a quiet neighbourhood, but just a 10 minute or less drive to 3 of the nicest beaches on the French side (Orient, Grand Case am Anse Marsel). There was also a supermarket about a 3 minute drive away. I could not recommend this hotel enough if you’re looking for a relaxing place to disconnect and unwind. Thank you to the whole team at La Villa Habiscus for making our first family vacation unforgettable!"

As Americans, the hard key for room & pool were both difficult & annoying when you can't access without help? Close to Grand Case which is a MUST for foodies & walking to the square for variety of grea t food "

"This property makes you feel like you’re in a travel magazine. Bright, spacious, comfortable and just a gorgeous property. The pergolas have electric shades so there is lots of shade available outside. We enjoyed the comfy loungers by the pool daily. The owner/host Alex was wonderful to deal with as well! "

"This was the most well-equipped rental that we have stayed at. While we didn't cook here, had we, everything needed was available. The condo has top of the line appliances in good working order. Of special note is the combo washer and dryer. Other rentals that we have stayed in only had a washer and a rack to dry your clothes. The unit is exceptionally quiet. During our 10 days stay I never heard a neighbor. The directions provided to the unit brought us directly to the front door. The condo is located in a gated community that is regularly patrolled by security. Seeing them regularly provided a sense of security. There are several outstanding restaurants within a 5-minute walk. The beach is minutes away too. There is a small market within walking distance too. You could stay here and never leave the area for your entire stay. There nothing that one would need that the condo doesn't have or one can't buy within an easy walk. I would consider renting this unit again."
