A wonderful place to say if your looking to visiting Maria Island (approx 10min drive), Swansea, Coles Bay, Bicheno or Port Arthur, great for day trips.

Only an Hour to Hobart!

Couples accommodation, is only minutes from several local beaches, close to parks, supermarket, post office, cafes, golf course, bowls club & boat ramp, good for the keen fisherman.

We are pet friendly ( 1 pet only 10Kg or under, sometimes 2 small dogs, please just make contact & I’m sure we can work something out) we still like to know when your bring a pet & we allow them inside but not on furniture or in bedrooms, they are not to be left at the property on their own or left inside unattended. A fee is chargded to cover for cleaner to do additional check, we also ask you to clean up after them before you leave.
The property is fenced, but please still do a walk around, to make sure you don’t think they get out, want to keep them safe, they are part of the family.
There is a large alfresco area, dog park opposite & only a few minutes walk to the beach my dog loves it there.

We have also replaced flooring to make the property pet friendly, this is also why we charge a pet fee.

Clean, quiet, huge patio, easy access.

Had everything we needed for a couple night stay and less than 10 min drive to Maria Island ferry. Friendly owner, easy communication, great patio, easy access and parking in a quiet neighborhood about 2 minutes off of the main highway. Would stay again.

Wonderful Orford Stay

This is a great property and we had a wonderful week in Orford. The house is very well appointed with all that you need. It was very clean and spacious. While we only had the two of us, it is definitely large enough for a family stay. The house has a nice range of books, games, a large TV and stereo if you have a rainy day. The kitchen has everything you need if you are on a budget and looking to cook rather than dine out. Situated in a quiet spot, we loved that we were close to all amenities and the beach. A short walk or a 1 minute drive to the IGA, Scorchers Café (great pizzas) and Wattlebanks Coastal Cafe. Only 7km to Triabunna where we had great seafood from the Fish Van. The Spring Bay Seafood and WIne Bar is also only a few km away and had great food and lovely service. The Orford Blue Waters Hotel and the Tandara Motor Inn are also only a short drive for nice meals. While out of the hustle and bustle of Hobart, we were only 1 hour away. We visited Salamanca Markets on Saturday first up in the morning then off to Port Arthur for the rest of the day. Centrally located, we enjoyed trips to Richmond, up to Ross, Swansea, the Tasman Arch and Blowhole. One highlight for us was to go for a walk at dusk and go rabbit spotting. Cottontail rabbits hop through the streets of Orford in the evening. Delightful sights!! Our Stayz contact Belinda was very helpful and answered any questions we had with a quick response. We would definitely recommend this accommodation.

A relaxing place to stay

Convenient, clean, comfortable, modern with a great host who obviously cares for both her property and her guests - without being intrusive. Our second stay every bit as enjoyable as our first. We’ll be back!

Whilst Looking for accommodation on short notice, I cannot believe how lucky we were to secure this little haven. An absolutely perfect property, immaculately clean, fantastic modern facilities, everything you could need & more for an overnighter or even a few weeks away, this surprise little package would be great for any singles/friends trip, perfect for a couples getaway & absolutely ideal for families, with safe secure yards with a fantastic outdoor entertaining area. Orford has so many great things nearby to check out- but staying in such a beautiful place you won’t want to leave. Very Affordable & all this topped off by the loveliest super host Bel, so warm & welcoming, lighting fast communication & more than happy to help in anyway possible. I cannot wait to book again in the near future (that’s if it’s available, I’m surprised this little gem isn’t booked out year round - if you’ve stayed before you’d have to agree & if you haven’t get in soon you won’t regret it ☺️). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you so very much Bel for a wonderful stay, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. ☺️💕

Great location

The property suited us perfectly as we holiday with a small dog.It is open plan and user friendly with a great undercover barbecue area in a quiet location.Coffee shops,supermarket and beaches are within walking distance and the host was great 👍

Clean and modern beach house with ocean views

We enjoyed our stay at this clean and modern beach house with ocean views. There was more than enough space for the 2 of us both inside and outside. Great to location to explore the area and for trips to Maria Island.

Lovely start in Orford

This lovely house in Orford was great for our family's needs- very clean, comfy beds, nice big living and dining space, plus a backyard for the kids to run around in. Location was good- an easy 5-10min walk to the local Cafe, playground and the beach/ river. It was a little further away from the beach than other properties in the area, but for the cost was good value for money. Bel was excellent to communicate with, very prompt and helpful, and even facilitated an earlier check in time for us. Orford was a very quiet little holiday town, but a nice and peaceful place for a relaxing getaway and a good location for exploring surrounding parts of Tassie.

Orford Pet Friendly

Fantastic place to stay and pet friendly. Bel's communication was amazing and made everything run smoothly. Lovely place to stay, very clean and everything you need. Huge patio area. Loved that it was fenced right round so our dog could have some freedom. Conveniently a dog park across the street. Can walk to the beach or drive to other beautiful beaches nearby. Stunning views of Maria Island and surrounds from the Three Thumbs Lookout. IGA and cafes close by. Would love to stay here again. 🤩

Lovely Holiday Home – Very Helpful Host

We loved staying at Bel’s place. Very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Only a short walk to the beach. Our dogs enjoyed the fully fenced yard and the dog park across the road. Close to the IGA and coffee shops, and the local pub had lovely meals. Bel is very attentive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Summer holiday at Orford

Fantastic location. Wonderful host. Terrific undercover area out the back if the weather turns sour for eating or playing games. Simple kitchen, but just about everything you need. Small bedrooms, but comfortable beds and all you need for a get away. Large lounge area.
