The best was the location.The hotel should not be 4 stars or vip, just 1 or 2 star.As the 1st room we were sent to, it was small and dingy and infested with silver fish .On complaining, the lady on the phone said she was not aware.Then moved us to the new refurbished block.It was bigger and better.But in the bathroom, the shower door was off the panel just hanging and even though no shower taken water could be seen around the drain as if overflowed .The shower above was dry. The lady at the reception said she would send someone over 1st thing in the morning as it was very late and we were tired.But nothing was done the next wholeday.We booked for 2 nights. Anyways we carried on staying in the same room as it was the last night.When got up in the morning saw a black worm /silver fish like creature crawling on the curtain next to the bed.If it was seen in the night,would have spoiled the whole night rest. When on holiday you expect your accomodation to be comfortable and clean and tidy so that when you come back after excursions get peaceful rest which was not the case because of the poor hygiene issues and silver fish infestation.

The hotel advertises having a swimming pool open from 8-22 in addition to a spa, which is why we had chosen this hotel. Not true, there is no pool. We tried to contact the hotel, to no avail—deceptive and deplorable service.

The hotel was under renovation, but that information was not shown when we booked. There should have been a charging station for EV, there wasn’t even parking. The pictures lie, everything was old and indeed in need of a renovation. The spa was the only area that didn’t disappoint, beside the fact that the “pool” in pictures is a 20cm deep jacuzzi. And it was for an additional cost. Expected something nicer for the high price we paid.

Hotell has been very nice, some time ago. Now it is a bit worn out. However, there are couple of major problems if you travel is summer. Firstly, there is no AC, so room is getting very hot. Secondly, our room curtains were not keeping room dark...so in morning at 5am room was totally lit, and it was impossible to sleep.

Service was terrible. There is no air conditioning in the hotel and it was very hot in the room. There is no bell boy so we had to carry all the bags up ourselves. We traveled with a 2 year old and apparently there was a gift for him but they didn’t give it to him. We had ordered a crib for the room but it wasn’t there. It took several hours before they brought it and then they asked if we could assemble ourselves. We asked to get our room cleaned each day but all they did was making the bed. They did not change the sheets, vacuum, mop, or wipe down anything. There were numerous other things that was not taken care off/ disappointing. This hotel isn’t cheap and I would expect better service. I will not stay there again.
