"Our family consisting of us, the parents, our three grown children and their spouses, and three grandchildren, stayed at the property in Banchory for three days, but I sorely wished it could have been a week. The property is stunning and the house is everything you might wish a Scottish manor house to be. It took us a couple of days to not get lost inside while roaming around. If someone wanted to get away to a quiet place, that was definitely not a problem! But it was the setting that really took this stay over the top. There were long grassy lawns, a tennis court, and a beautiful river meandering along the side of the property. It was stunningly beautiful. We made good use of the property, and the young ones enjoyed feeding carrots to two friendly horses. I communicated with the owners several times before arrival, mostly to ask for special equipment for our youngest grandchild, and they were always accommodating and prompt in their replies. The only negative was having to leave this gorgeous place! Meanwhile, we have made lifetime memories that won't be forgotten!"
