My stay was absolutely pleasant. All the staff went above and beyond to ensure the stay was great! The cleaning and restaurant staff were top notch. And the front desk staff were always giving suggestions on what to do to make the stay the best.

Golden rock is a beautiful property relatively new. Quality of construction is excellent. Rooms large and comfortable with terraces with wonderful views of the sea and the property. Staff was amazing. The AC in my room kept turning off. I would have to keep turning it on ever so often. Was told it operated on green technology which I understood but it again shut off during my sleep and was told that I must not have moved much in my sleep since it shuts off when it senses no motion for a period of time. May want to revise this setting as I would think there are many people who sleep still for hours during the night. Just a constructive feedback as it made my sleep a bit uncomfortable by having to wake up and turn the AC back on. I'm still giving this resort 5 stars. I highly recommend this resort if you love nature and breathtaking scenes of mountains and oceans.

The property is picture perfect. It gives a relaxing vibe and you can find several options on the property to keep you engaged and entertained. The restaurant Breeze is ideally place to capture the best views and it serves the most tasty food with several options no matter your dietary requirements. The food is also fresh and my absolute favourite was the fresh mint tea at mornings. Other amenities like the pool, spa, kids park and gulf makes it a great option whether you are planning a family trip or a couples weekend get away. The hotel arranged an island tour that took us to the main sites and even made arrangements for me to attend church. Our tour guide and driver Anthony made our stay memorable. My husband and I will be back.

Golden Rock Resort is truly golden!! An absolute gem on a little known island! The property itself is gorgeous with amazing landscaping everywhere. All accommodations are lovely but we particularly enjoyed our villa for space, convenience, beauty & view. The best part, however, is the people. All of the staff were kind & truly made us feel like family. Sally & Sophie sold us on this property at a travel show and we will be forever grateful - they went above & beyond for us (and all of their guests) and have become our new sisters!! Don’t hesitate to spend a week enjoying all that Golden Rock & Statia have to offer!!

Beautiful plantings (thousands of tropical plant varieties!) and physical property. Lighting enhances the grounds at night. Unfortunately, no beach. Nice views from all rooms. Food is well presented but did not blow me away. I like how music also is played along the walkways. Two nice pools, good workout room, sports courts. Mini-golf could use some maintenance. Staff is pleasant but not terribly organized. Loved our little cottage. Nicely decorated. Had to go to town to do a beach scuba dive because the onsite scuba shop couldn’t accommodate us, unfortunately. I enjoyed my stay here. It’s the best property on St. Eustatius.

This resort is very beautiful and quiet. I suggest to further the staff training particularly in directly dealing with customers. We had to call and asked to pick us up at the ferry even though I scheduled it before I even arrived. The front desk told me the housekeeping comes every other day. I told her it’s unacceptable considering being a luxury resort. They accommodated my request. The service isn’t bad but it just needs more training. The Breakfast portion size is NOT enough. No yoga instructor for the whole week that we stayed. We couldn’t get in the spa unless we book the spa separately.
