The condo was great! Pools are nice. No issues. Would stay again. Also there is no property mgr to communicate with so I just put a 5 star cause it would not let me continue.

This property is exactly as described. Steve and Connie were prompt responders and very accommodating! I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to stay. There are no toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, garbage bags). However, if you did forget anything there is a Walmart about 5mins away. Will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in town!

Overall it met our needs

Very clean. Good location, however large tower being finished next door which i feel will crowd the beach. Multiple pools were nice, but the complex alltogether could use some maintenence. Second shower is VERY small (i am 5'4) and could barely use it.

Best location ever

Our stay was everything we hoped for. The beach was a close walk and it had 3 pools too. The place was decorated so beachy and it had a feel of comfort. There also was a Sugar shack to get drinks and food At the pool. The location on the beach and in the town was perfect for shopping and restaurants. I would go back to The Bliss anytime

Perfect month on the beach!

What a wonderful place to stay for a month in February! The condo was as expected and good value for the price we paid. Love that it is right on the beach and so close to the Gulf Shores State Park where we spent many hours hiking the many trails. Restaurants and grocery stores are all very close. Cooked many times since the kitchen was well equipped. Would definitely return to this property again in the future if it is available for the month of February. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!

Very, Very, very dirty

The condo needs a good DEEP cleaning. Shower curtain had mold on it, screen on patio door was off track, patio doors difficult to open, neither door lock, kitchen utensils poor condition, stains on couch, mattress pad stained, bath towels had holes in them, carpet in bedrooms were very dirty, set of dentures in bathroom, elevators don’t work smoothly, decking around pool area has many rotted boards, washer & dryer was good condition.

Okay, but nit as nice as described

Condo was clean, but is small, not as spacious as described. Bed seemed more like a full size, not queen as described. Furniture dated, could really use an update. Ocean view was was minimal at best, one mainly saw the condos beside you. Screen door was off of sliding door, which would not lock. Overall condo was satisfactory for us. Disappointed in lack of ocean view, and you could only walk in the loose sand of the beach. There was a big drop off to the water, where you really couldn’t walk. Also there was no mention of a $35 parking fee. If you don’t mind the things mentioned, condo is fine, as it was clean.

Beach Vacation

So the pictures listed on VRBO made this property look fantastic. When we arrived at the condo, first impressions were not good. The parking garage had black mold growing on the outside walls. When we entered our unit, we were met with more black mold in every crevice of the unit. Mold in the air vents, mold all in the bathrooms, the carpet felt musty and there was a nasty stench to the unit. My kids took their shoes off to run around and the bottoms of their feet were completely black from the dirt leftover on the floor. Before we could start our vacation, we had to go buy cleaning supplies just to clean the area so we could be semi-comfortable. As a nurse, I know the dangers of breathing in and being in an area that is infested with black mold. We were appalled that this condo was still able to be rented out to unsuspecting PAYING customers. How did this building pass an inspection?? I can say neither I nor my family will ever want to return to Sugar Beach condos. Not only was the parking garage/condo room moldy, but the hallways were too which tells me that this problem was not restricted to our unit alone. This condo seriously needs to be updated and cleaned thoroughly as well as heavily treated for black mold before someone has a serious medical event from this neglect.

Family ocean trip

What an amazing week for our family! The pools and beach being so accessible to go back and forth was amazing. And relaxing in the condo was perfect in between! We made the best memories, had a comfy stay and lived in the ocean and pool. We will be back!

We stay at sugar beach every year. I will say that this condo was not the cleanest when we got there and i had to reclean it which i know doesnt fall on the owners and more on the ppl that clean for the condo. We were alittle disappointed that there werent boogie boards and stuff available to use as there has been in the past but the size of this room was great for the price! Also was well stocked with any dish you would need. We would def book again.

Stay

The facility was decent. Enjoyed the covered parking and that there were 4 pools. The condo itself, wasn’t bad but could definitely use a real good cleaning and update. Beds were comfortable and really liked having a washer and dryer in the unit. Steve was quick to respond to any questions or concerns.

Very nice place to stay!

Very close to the beach. Easy to leave and go find places to shop and eat nearby. There were 3 pools to swim and soak up some sun besides the beach.We never had any problems except there was sand on the floor in condo I’m guessing from others that had been there prior to us.
