"Lovely balcony area for enjoying sunny mornings with coffee outside. Great proximity to the lake front. Excellent restaurant menu from Dixie Brown’s delivered to the room when an home night was needed. Excellent beds."

"Very friendly check in. Accomodation was clean and spacious, we did however get upgraded which we were very happy about. We caught Ubers to go in to town as too cold to walk and they were generally around $10 each way Would definitely recommend this Motel."

"The room was clean and the bed comfortable (on the firmer side, but I like a firm mattress), great shower and had the facilities you need, but some aspects were a bit dated. Had a spa which we didnt use, but made use of the thermal pools which were great! Staff were really friendly and happy to help! Would stay again, value for money."

"The hotel was located on a hill overlooking Lake Taupo as opposed to on the lake. We had a lovely well presented room that featured Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries ( one of my favorite brands) Staying in Lake Taupo was definitely a highlight of our trip."

"We stayed only one night but I really think this is a place you would want to spend a couple of days to get maximum benefit from everything on offer. Only issue was the soap dispenser in the shower ran out of soap while I was in the shower (last one of three to use it) other than that enjoyable stay."
