"This was my first time staying at a Dormy Inn, and as expected from its reputation, it was a very comfortable stay. "The hotel was everything it advertised to be!! Although there were clouds the first couple days, when they cleared, we had a perfectly unobstructed view of mt Fuji. It was like looking at a postcard, totally unreal. Our host was above and beyond. His knowledge of local to do’s, food, sights, etc, was great and reliable. We stayed in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Kawaguchiko. Although Kyoto was amazing, nothing could top our accommodations in Kawaguchiko. Do yourself a favor and and stay here. Thx again!!!!"

I saw someone share photos of this Onsen on instagram and had to see if they had rooms available. I’m so glad I did! The property is stunning, the staff are incredibly warm and kind, and the food was exceptional. We arrived late but the owner came to pick us up at the bus stop and took us back to our place. Check in was smooth and the lady gave us a little tour of our cottage as well and explained everything. This was my first time staying at a Dormy Inn, and as expected from its reputation, it was a very comfortable stay. 5/5 Definitely recommended for anyone especially if you come in bigger group! There was only 3 of us so it was plenty of space. They picked us up at the train station. Service was excellent. They were very nice toward us. I unfortunately only stay at this lovely villa for only one night because I already booked else where. I will definitely stay there again if I have a chance. It was pretty close to the lake as well. On a clear day, you can easily see Fuji-san.

Amazing stay experience with the breathtaking view of Lake Kawaguchi and the magnificent Mt. Fuji from your room literally in and out. The room was tidy and spacious with the ceiling tall window and the comfortable terrace sofa. The staff and the service was very friendly, approachable yet has a first class detailed hospitality. The property was highly designed well on how you spend the time in both in the room and in the woods by the nature. Definitely recommend for any group if any age!!

Staying Nizi was the most enjoyable experience during our 10 days’ vacation in Japan. The motel home page instructed the motel as close to American style motels, but we found the room was far beyond American standard. The view from the room window was magnificent. The room was clean, spacious and very well equipped. The high light would be a huge Jacuzzi bath tub, and separate washing area with showers. If the bath room was facing to Kofu Valley with large window, it must be fantastic.
