"The staff was so kind and attentive. They really made our stay. They altered our dinner to our preferences, they gave us a premium free room upgrade without us even asking, they helped us book taxis and we’d just so warm. The onsen was also wonderful - outdoors under starry night. There was wine tasting included. The place is rustic but so characterful. "

The owner met me when I checked in and explained how to lower the blinds facing the street as the shower and toilet are facing the street. The owner helped me book a nearby restaurant Motontoko where the owner chef is a fisherman who serves the fish he caught that day. "
