You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Owl - Cabin at Sunset Bay

WE ARE PET FRIENDLY AND WE DO CHARGE A SMALL PET FEE. PLEASE ADD YOUR PET TO YOUR RESERVATION. First bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a single over double bunk bed.

Bathroom has toilet, sink, tub and shower.

Kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, etc., and has a fridge, stovetop and oven.

There is also a BBQ and propane, picnic table, chairs, fire pit, hot dog sticks and firewood.

No smoking inside the cabin.

Friendly, quiet dogs are welcome!
However if your dog has any issues with cats, we kindly ask that you do not bring them along.

Guests will be provided with bed linens and bath towels but please bring your own beach towels.

We have 7km of walking trails on site.

Kayaks, paddle board and canoe available for rent.

Pontoon tours of the lake or to the deeper water for swimming, available for an additional fee. Pontoon comes with an operator, guests are not permitted to take out alone.


Our lake is shallow for a long way out, so it’s not the best for swimming. And our lake doesn’t have any fish, but there are many lakes within a 20 minute drive that are good fishing. Just ask and we’ll point you in the right direction!

Guided fishing by boat is also available. If you’re interested please inquire prior to arrival.

I love this place, its quiet, people are friendly, lots to do and close to the park. The lake is close if you want to canoe, paddle board or kayak. The hosts are great and accommodating.

The place was great for our family. We were happy that we could bring our Labrador along. The green space and fire pit area was spacious. The property owners were very helpful. Location was convenient. We'd stay here again.

A getaway close to hikes

Perfect little place near Riding Mountain. Super clean. Sauna was amazing. Not as secluded as I hoped for an anniversary getaway but perfect for a place to crash after hiking all day!

Wonderful Vacation!

The Owl Cabin at Sunset Bay was exactly what we were looking for. It was very private & quite. The location was minutes away from Riding Mountain National Park.

A pleasant surprised

After a four-day stay, we were very happy with the overall experience. The owners are friendly and always available when we needed to ask something. The cabin was very clean and well-maintained. I would definitely go back and recommend this place. If you love nature, you will love it.

Vacation

This property overlooks the lake (if your staying in an Rv) which offers a beautiful view and gorgeous sunsets The grounds are manicured with easily walking trails (gorgeous in the fall which we stayed then) Lots of birds and beautiful views We loved that we could take our dogs and this was why we chose here So glad we did. Had a very relaxing wonderful stay. Will definitely go back. Will just remember to book on Canadian site not US so not charged US funds for a Canadian booking again

Winter Getaway

The hosts were amazing went above and beyond for us. We arrived during a snow storm. They snowblowed a walking path for us and gave us tons of privacy. We were able to relax no problem. There was a tv and Wifi if we needed it.The property was serene and beautiful. My only regret was not using the sauna. Next time :-)

Nice Place

I stayed here over Christmas and it was nice. I saw previous reviews about spotty wifi, so I was prepared for that but the wifi worked just fine for me. They also have a Roku TV as well, but I didn't watch much, just an episode of Corner Gas and Kim's Convenience on the freebie part of the app.

Great winter stay

We came for a winter getaway to enjoy the outdoors with our dog. We had the most pleasant stay, and the sauna was a wonderful touch! Better yet, our dog had a friendly playmate when we were at the accommodations. Would recommend, especially if you have a pet!

Quiet location, minutes from the park. Amazing sunsets. The cabin was clean and equipped with the basics for our 5 day stay. Andrea was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again, or try one of the RV rentals too.

Had a great time

Booked the Owl cabin for a short spring break getaway. Everything was as advertised. Cabin was comfortable and cozy. Very close to the park and we were able to get out and enjoy the (unseasonably) cool weather! Thanks for having us, we would stay again.
