The pictures are inaccurate and out of date; the living room is so empty it echoes. The smoke detector was broken. The cutting board for the kitchen was stored between a mouse trap and the cleaning chemicals. Obviously, we didn't use it.Everything in the apartment was cheap or in poor condition. The curtain rod left rust stains on the towels.Finally, I had to confirm with the host that the coffee pot was broken like 5 times, and then had to demand that he replace it before one was dropped off. He constantly pushed back on my report by suggesting I was the problem, despite me confirming multiple times that I had tried all of his solutions. All this despite the fact the next most recent review also indicated the coffee pot was broken and not remedied.Then he suggested it wasn't working because I expected it to grind the beans, when I had already confirmed that there were grounds in the brew basket AND water in the reservoir.Having to constantly interface with him about the coffee pot while trying to enjoy my vacation was annoying and unnecessary. We stayed for 3 nights/3 mornings and he only delivered the coffee pot on the last night of our stay. Throughout our conversations it was clear he was using a temple to deal with my concerns instead of actually listening to me.Then he tried to call me to apologize, I was done talking about it. Literally all I wanted was a working coffee maker and he made it so laborious to get a single cup of coffee.
