The location and room was stunning and exactly what we needed for our stay. What really made it special was Margo. Margo could not do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible from the welcome drink with her and her husband to the amazing breakfasts, you are made to feel so welcome and part of the family. 「Number 8 in Derry has been our favorite place to stay in our 2 week trip exploring Ireland. It had the most comfy beds of our whole trip. The house was built in 17… (1762, if memory serves) and retains its character while having been updated with modern amenities. Staff was wonderful to chat with at breakfast in the dining room. Located just inside the city walls, Number 8 is steeped in rich history. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat! Wish we’d stayed a few more nights!」

「Loved the area, it was very walkable. The room was clean and a good size. Appreciated the free parking option but it was a little difficult carting 4 bags of luggage from parking to the room, then up the stairs.」

「Without doubt possibly the best B & B I have stayed at. Irish hospitality t its best. Breakfast was amazing and a good variety for those who don't fancy an Ulster Fry to start their day. Our hosts were very sociable and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely cakes to go with our in room refreshments were an absolute bonus. Would happily stay here again.」
