Amazing Oceanfront Getaway!! This historic beach cottage is a perfect place to unwind!! 3 bedroom 1 1-4 bath waterfront home on the Puget Sound perfect for a relaxing escape. Kick back on the couch and see all kinds of wild life seals, dolphins, whales and eagles. Big boats and sailboats go right by the house. You are out on the point with no traffic just incredible views!! Take a walk on the beautiful beach right In front of the house!! We have a rare low bank so you are just a few steps to the water!!! Find all kinds of beautiful shells and rocks and look out at Mt. Rainier. This home is set up with everything you need for a wonderful stay. 10 minutes north of Olympia. Zittels boat marina is about a mile away you can rent a boat and spend the day on the Puget Sound! Golf, great dining, hiking, diving. Many amazing sights to see!!

Million dollar views

The views were awesome and the area was very quiet and relaxing. The house on the other hand was built in 1909 and it's showing it's age. The floors are uneven and the stairs down to the house could use some shoring up. The stove needs to be updated as well. Overall, I would stay here again based on the views from the back yard.

Views were amazing, property was Misrepresented

The home had some charm to it and the views were amazing. However, this property is not well maintained, it is old and out dated. Here are a few things that need to be addressed. A number of the outlets did not work properly, the in take vent that is in the floor in the hallway would pop up and hit you if you walked on it wrong, the bathroom window opened to the laundry room, there were a number of windows that did not open, the ones that did were hard to open and a bunch of the frames were broken or missing screens. The weekend we were there was extremely hot, unusually hot for the area. There were only a few fans and the front windows had no covers on them to block the afternoon sun. Thank goodness our family members. loaned us fans. We chose not to cook in the house. First it was way too hot. Secondly, the stove and oven are extremely old. Thirdly, the dishwasher was not working. IF you are looking for a cool location, this is an amazing location. However, the house is not.
