Wonderful staff and manager Hector. They were always friendly and ready to help in whatever way we needed.
The only suggestion for the resort would be to increase the pathway lighting. At night , it is is really hard to see the way back to the cabins.
Hotel Las Qolqas is much more than a place to stay — it’s a destination in itself. Surrounded by majestic mountains, it combines luxury and nature in perfect harmony. The hotel is impeccably maintained, yet it lets you feel the powerful presence of the surrounding landscape. The food is outstanding, by chef Lenin and his staff: Luis, Rafael, Victor, Eliana, Dafne and Sara. The atmosphere is serene, and every detail carefully crafted. If you’re visiting Machu Picchu, stay at least three nights to truly experience its peace and beauty.
Quiet little piece of paradise, the views of the surrounding mountains were breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cabins were beautiful and I loved being able to have a fire at night in the wood burning stove. Food was delicious & I enjoyed my morning cappuccino while enjoying the views. Ollantaytambo was a quaint little town, I explored the ruins & the town. I felt very safe and relaxed, and enjoyed my walk from Ollantaytambo to the resort.
I had the Inca Detox spa treatment, it was a lovely way to end my day. The spa was very cute. Thank you for a peaceful and relaxing visit.
The property is a stunning place located approximately ten minutes from downtown, with convenient access provided by the hotel's complimentary shuttle service. During our stay, we traveled with a group of seven, including four children. Each morning began wonderfully with the complimentary breakfast served in the aesthetically pleasing restaurant and surrounding area. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The staff and owner are absolutely wonderful. They were so accommodating to us in whatever way we needed. This property is worth every penny. The food was incredible. The spa treatments were amazing. Highly recommend!
This property was spectacular. We stayed one night on the way down from Mach Picchu. The moment we arrived we wished we had more time. The grounds were beautiful and the river running alongside made for a very peaceful setting. The staff was extremely friendly. The group tent was super family friendly with kids staying in the loft area and two private bedrooms downstairs.
Absolutely stunning facilities. Comfortable, clean rooms and staff always ready to help and make sure your stay is perfect. I especially liked the mountain bikes they have to borrow. The bikes are top quality and ready for the tough terrain around the hotel. I also need to recognize the massage therapist and her amazing work coupled with the hot tub and sauna. My only note would be to include more gluten free options in the restaurant but they offer great transportation into town where you can get something if you need.
This place was the best decision ever!! It was so peaceful and relaxing, the small town of Ollantaytambo only being 5 minutes away was very convenient! The staff was so nice and welcoming! I hope to come back soon!!!!
This place is amazing. It’s very conveniently located and the rooms are very spacious and clean. The restaurant onsite is very good. The best part about this place is the hospitality of the staff. They go out of the way to make your stay comfortable. I will stay here again.
Beautiful serene property by the river. You can hear all the birds chirping. Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and their restaurant and food delicious!
Very nice property for our family. The rooms were clean and the grounds/views were exceptional. Food was excellent as well as the service. Everyone one that worked there was extremely nice and willing to help. The only gripe is that the hot water was a bit erratic at times.

Absolutely amazing experience here. Would highly recommend! The grounds are extremely well cared for and the staff are extremely accommodating. It is remote in the valley between two mountains and truly is an escape. The best part is they grow fruits, herbs, and veggies on the property which the chef uses to create daily menu specials.
A truly outstanding Eco resort in harmony with a stunning location.
The warm, welcoming local staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our villa was beautifully designed and bathed in the sounds of the nearby tumbling creek. In addition to the wonderful breakfasts, we enjoyed a lovely 4 course dinner in the atmospheric glass dining room.
Special thanks to manager Mr. Hector Ramirez, who kindly helped us make the most of our time in Ollantaytambo, helping us explore Inca wonders in the surrounding hills.
We cannot wait to return to Las Qolqas.
Beautiful and peaceful property, loved the breakfast (we ordered everything!), dinner and cocktails from bar. Also enjoyed the spa - hydro-circuit therapy was refreshing and massages were excellent. It is further from town, but that’s why we chose this lodge. After our 4-day trek, we very much appreciated the rest. Shuttle service was easy to arrange and always on time. Staff were kind and helpful, arranged everything requested, efficiently. We stayed 2 nights and wished we had stayed longer.
Dream like setting for a hotel. Stayed here for 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The resort is surrounded by towering mountains on both sides with a river flowing through. The onsite dining and breakfast options were high quality and the service very good. The room we were in felt a little short on space. However, floor to to ceiling glass doors gave a very roomy feel with stunning views of nature. There is a hiking trail that goes to Pumamarca ruins just outside the hotel entrance for those that are feeling the urge to explore the area.
I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a stay in Sacred Valley.
Very helpful staff. Their help started a month prior to our arrival. I had a lot of help via whatsapp from the front desk and they coordinated transportation from Cusco and arranged a visit of Ollantaytambo and the surroundings with a local travel company that did a very good job
Our family of three stayed at this resort for three nights after hiking the Inca trail. It is a fabulous resort with excellent service and beautiful grounds and separate cabins. My husband and I each enjoyed a massage and we ate in the restaurant every evening for their set dinner which was always delicious. They have an on site tour operator who worked with us to plan a great day trip of mountain biking and sight seeing. This is a fabulous resort and l worth the expense of you want to splurge and pamper yourself. Just make sure you take some time to enjoy the resort itself.
