"From check in to departure, although only one night, this was a great place to. Check in was simple, and the staff very friendly, helpful and chatty. "Run down hotel. Cracked walls. Unrefreshend smell to the room. Not worth 1/4 of the $$$ I paid. Getting out of the bathtub was a fall hazard. Shower pressure was low...on the ground floor I wonder what its like on the top floor. Very unpolite and discriminatory frontend staff. Had paid for a quadruple room but was given a lower occupancy room. The only positive thing was the comfy bed and having a roof over one's head."

"Have to say that I am very disappointed with my stay. Checkout is 12. At 11 I went downstairs. 11 10 back to my room I go. Only to find my key card had been deactivated. Then have to go down to reception to get it reactivated. At 11.45 we were packed and exited the room. When I remembered I had left an item in the room. Went to go back in and yet again the key card had been deactivated. It wasn't even 12. So I was very very unhappy"

"We loved the Edwardian! The staff were amazing and couldn't have been more helpful. Everyone is so happy and pleasant. Breakfast was great and the coffees are lovely. The hotel is in a great location for nights out, bars, restaurants etc. The rooms are brilliant and have an iron and ironing board, Nespresso machine, fridge etc. which some don't have. The spa is great, the pool, gym, sauna and steam room are excellent and was a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant and bars look amazing although we didn't eat there. There's a lovely champagne bar too. The changing rooms at the spa were lovely and there are large beds to relax near the pool I saw a couple of small areas in the pool area that need plastering to retain the high class finish that is so obvious everywhere else throughout the hotel (I noticed this near to the water/drinks because I'm a tradey and no one else might've and it's small! I'd have done it if I'd have had my trowel ;) We will 100% be going again. This is now our favourite place in Manchester and worth every penny."
