"This hotel was in a great location right across from the business to go parasailing and rent/paddle boards, couple blocks down from a great pizza place and walking distance from the market and public beach. We enjoyed the private beach so much, although it’s quite small and will probably be crowded once the summer rush hits. The pool is really nice, and the staff was very helpful. We will definitely return plan on staying there again."

"The condo was outstanding! It was clean, nicely decorated and well stocked. Being just a 30-second walk from the lakefront, we enjoyed breakfast out there on the first day so much that we lingered for 3 hours!Communication with the management was excellent. When an issue arose with the oven, management had it fixed immediately. When we couldn't figure out how to close the sofa bed (seriously!), management sent someone to close it for us!Parking was onsite and the location was central to everything we needed, including restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance.I highly recommend this condo for a stay at Lake Tahoe."

"I purchased room thru Expedia and got a pet friendly room. When I got there, there were two long flight of steps which my husband who is handicapped had a hard time getting up. I went to the office and asked for a bottom floor or cabin. I mentioned I had my dog. The guy said he couldn’t make any changes that I would have to go thru Expedia. The hotel charged me $486.26 for a one night stay. It was only suppose to be $131.13. They told me since I was in a non dog room, they charged me extra. I explained I went thru Expedia and got the dog room, but they said no I didn’t. When I told them I had told the guy I had a dog, he said I didn’t! I always get the dog rooms on trips. I am so upset that they refused to drop the dog charges. I never hid I had a dog and when I asked to move I made sure he knew I had a dog. What a rip off!"

"Kayaking on the lake was lovely. The room was very clean and had the cutest cottage charm. We visited in May, but these units are well suited for winter activities as well, with the jetted tub, fireplace and kitchenette. The heat was off, the outside temperature dropped into the 40's after midnight and the unit was still almost 80° inside."

"The view is out of this world!!! The place is located next to the best pizza in North Tahoe! It does have quite a bit of road noise, but I’m a very light sleeper and used my white noise app which worked great!! Lots of amenities in the condo as well. Easy check in and check out process!!! We had a blast"

"This is our second time staying at Edgelake and we love staying in these condos by the lake instead of a tiny hotel room. Relaxed home away from home style stays that help save money from eating out on vacation with the full kitchen. This unit was a little outdated and we couldn't control the temperature, which oddly enough meant we were to hot all night. Nothing wrong with the beds, per se, but not too my liking and I didn't sleep well. But it's literally on lake Tahoe and close to Northstar which check two big boxes for me in addition to a much more relaxing option than hotels. We will likely stay here again but would love to see a little upgrading. "
