"This little apartment is perfect for couples every little details I well thought about, and has a luxury feel to it. My husband I had a really wonderful few days here. If I was to be hyper critical, I would say perhaps remove some of the very beautiful objects from the tables so that you can prepare food and eat food, there is no WiFi and we found that neither of our phones could pick up any 4 or 5g very well so watching tv even with fire stick was impossible. But these are suggestions the impact was tiny during our stay, I would also remove the foot stall as we kept falling over it . But seriously what a fabulous little bolt hole, right next to the very trendy end of town we really can’t wait to come back it was wonderful thank you, x"

"Lovely accommodation & nice to have use of the kitchen. Breakfast also good. All the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Unfortunately, we were in one of the accessible rooms, which wasn’t great. The bathroom stank of drains which wasn’t pleasant. However, as soon as we mentioned it to the staff they immediately gave us some air freshener to help. Great location & in a different room we would have given it an even higher score!"

"Friendly staff on arrival, recommended places to eat and things to see in the area. Very welcoming with access to cold drinks when the weather has been warm. Room is lovely and big and bed was incredibly comfortable. Compact but nicely fitted bathroom with good toiletries supplied. Great location for boat trips, walking the walls, town and restaurants etc. It was great to have a small kitchen so as not to have to eat every meal out. It was well equipped for just two people. The only drawback was the noise. It's a period building which makes it lovely however it does mean it isn't great at keeping out the noise - bars/restaurants getting deliveries early morning and other guests chatting in the lobby area is very noisy in this particular room. However, they do supply earplugs for this purpose. If you're a deep sleeper you'll probably be fine though."

"As this was a relevantly new establishment we weren't sure what to expect, but we had a fabulous stay. Everything was high class, from the coffee bags - not instant, to the shower/shampoo/conditioner. Towels that actually covered me, to posh 'who gives a crap' toilet paper!!We came home one afternoon to find a small punnet of strawberries in our room! We met the owner - Angela, when we were leaving and she was lovely too. She had more ideas for the place so it could be even better for arrivals.The only down side we could find was the door didn't fit so well (it is a very traditional original home) & when it was a bit windy the door moved & rattled- we solved it by wedging it with some paper! Also pillows were quite hard ones & I like soft but I went & bought one locally so again, problem solved!We would recommend staying at The Merchants, wonderful area too to explore. Thank you for your hospitality"

"A very pleasant stay for 3 nights at this lovely renovated town house centrally located in Berwick upon Tweed for 4 coulplesThe house was clean and well equipped. We felt that the back patio area needed some tlc. Would recommend to family & Friends. Instructions from the host was excellent for entry and parking. Althought we did not use the private parking space as felt it was a bit tight for the size of our cars so we used the quayside 24 hour free parking.Would book again"
