Scissortail Park- Very large 70 acre park that has pickleball courts, basketball, huge playgrounds for all ages, water pad, long walking trails, outdoor concerts and picnic areas and all right in downtown OKC. You can also rent pedal boats, kayaks, and stand up boards at the Boathouse.
Lake Hefner- tons of paved trails around the lake, restaurants, lighthouse, kitesurfing, sailing, golfing, fishing, etc…
OKC National Memorial Museum- Learn about the devestating events that unfolded on April 19, 1995 and see the beautiful tributes and symbolic memorials built to remember the victims of the OKC bombing.
Bricktown- In the heart of OKC where they offer shopping, restaurants, Water Taxi’s in the bricktown canal where a guide will narrate the history of the canal and the ssurrounding businesses. You can rent a private cruise or join a dinner cruise.

Ramsey's Kitchen
Panang- Thai Food (We love the fried spring rolls, Tom-Yum with chicken, Pad Thai Noodles, and the chicken fried rice.
Tucker's Burgers and Big Ed Burger
Taco San Pedro- It’s further south OKC but a hole in the wall mexican restaurant. Not tex-mex authentic mexican food from the town of San Pedro, it is incredible. Our favorites are chicken flautas, wet carne asada burrito, chicken and carne asada tacos, quesadillas, too much to name. Been going for over 30 years and have never been disappointed.
