The hotel is beautiful! There is an airport shuttle to and from the hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel provides many amenities such as a heated pool, water slide, daily socials twice a day, ping pong, public bath. We booked in to the Grande Mercure for 3 nights during our 14 day trip for a bit of a relax with the kids (ages- 9, 10, 11 & 12). This totally hit the spot! We chose the executive level so we'd have access to the breakfast, snacks and drinks throughout the day and it was the best decision we made. It is a huge lounge with tons of space for families. We had great breakfast options and the coffee and drinks throughout the day were exceptional. We did not eat at the main restaurant but enjoyed lunches and one dinner at the Pizza/Waterside restaurant. It was nice to have the executive lounge space to get together with our friends, the kids could play games/cards and the adults were able to snack, read and drink when we weren't at the pool. The rooms were very well appointed and the waterslides, pools, lazy river and beach are all well maintained and easy to access. Of note, kids under 13, must be accompanied by an adult on the big tube waterslide AND in the water. That was a disappointment for us as our kids are all athletic swimmers but needed supervision IN the water at all times. We wished there was a swim test so the lifeguards could identify kids who are capable in the water. This was a very minor thing but did affect how we spent our time. Also of note, if its too windy (which we encountered during our time), there is no ability to open the umbrellas meaning there is next to no shade available at the pool. We had an exceptional meal @ Maruki Pizza a short Uber ride away.

They have a great water park for kids and adults. There are 3 slides (one with a 2-person tube and 2 for single riders), a lazy river, and 2 nice pools at the resort. There is also a beach area where they have an inflatable water obstacle course plus beach stuff to rent. The buffet breakfast was great. I highly recommend this place for any travelers or locals looking for a stay-cation.

Great hotel devices(pool and water slide) for kids, beach activities( SUP,canoe,sea castle …) all free for hotel guests, two things need to improve: 1) duvets and covers have bad smell , we have one suite and one room both had this issue , 2) pools not open in the nights besides weekend. We stayed 5 nights in the hotel but only two nights can enjoy night pools…

Pros : clean and big rooms The food is good if you like eating the same food every day :) The onsen was clean and has 3 different pools The beach is gorgeous for sure The pools are amazing The shower and tub in the room is amazing Cons :elevators take forever! The reviews about this are true. They only have 1 breakfast restaurant and 1 dinner restaurant. Breakfast is 3,000 per person in yen Dinner is 8,000 yen each. The staff did minimal effort to help us, even when we did use Google Translate they still didn’t understand ? There’s no ATM to withdraw money for the laundry service which is 500 yen per load. The beach charges you for an extra chair to sit on instead of it being for free on a 4 star resort like everywhere else around the world They only have pizza for lunch every day ! We grew tired of that You are allowed 1 towel each at the pool, you aren’t allowed more This hotel is not accessible to other hot spots without a personal vehicle unless you’re planning on spending 100 dollars each trip you take into town. Our balcony had bird excrement all over The ceiling near the vents has black mold everywhere I looked and I was curious to know if maybe all that mold went into our rooms …. I was looking forward for this trip for so long and ended up disappointed.

Me and my family loved it here. The view from our room es exceptional it has a view of the ocean and the pool. i like that they have a free snack bar for the guest. The Hotel staff are very nice too.Our favorite is the pool slide. we had so much fun.Zanpa beach is just walking distance from the hotel which is very convenient they also offer more acitvities there like jet ski, dragon boat and much more. I wish we can stay more days but we will definitely coming back here.

It was mostly fine. The service, cleanliness, room conditions they were all satisfactory. It's just that the Wi-fi is terribly slow and I couldn't use it at all. Messengers barely worked in my opinion. I had Business to do with my laptop and this wi-fi slowed everything down and stressed me a lot. Hard to believe a hotel this expensive provides such a poor internet.

Facilities such as swimming pools, slides and unlimited drinks and snacks provided are really good. The opening hours of pools and drinks service until 22:00pm are really nice. Best thing to stay in Hotel. But unfortunately the room seems TOO BIG and smelly. The room should have sofa according to pictures have showed on website. But turn out we didn't found any sofa in room and massive empty space in room which seems so odd. And the room, corridor and lobby or even every corners smelled musty. Experience was not so good at all. Suggest to insert some perfume will be better. Overall I think it is good experience expect the quality of room. Facilities are excellent and worth to say in hotel whole day.

Staff were great, clean but lots of ants everywhere. The executive lounge is a perk but after the first day, it’s the same items. There also isn’t enough elevators for the amount of rooms. No vending machines on site. The phones have no directory so if you need help and need to call the front desk, you can’t. Horrible.
