Pixie House + Orchard House

A sweet little Ojai compound made up of two charming, fully private cottages—perfect for families, friends, or couples traveling together who want to stay close while still having their own space.

Tucked into a peaceful residential setting beneath Ojai’s beautiful oak trees, Pixie House and Orchard House sit side by side, each with its own private, fully fenced yard and separate entrance. An interior gate connects the two cottages, making it easy to move between them while maintaining the privacy and independence of each home.

Pixie House

The Pixie House is a cozy one-bedroom garden cottage designed for comfort and easy living. The warm, inviting interior features a comfortable living area, dining space, fully equipped kitchen, and a peaceful bedroom with a king bed. A full bathroom completes the space.

Outside, the private fenced garden is a little oasis of its own, with picnic seating and a cozy outdoor couch—perfect for morning coffee, an afternoon read, or winding down beneath the Ojai sky.

Orchard House

Next door, Orchard House offers a little more room to spread out with two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed, plus a cozy office with a full-size futon for additional sleeping space.

The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living spaces, and its own private fenced yard where you can enjoy coffee in the sunshine, share a meal outdoors, or simply relax among the trees.

Booked together, the two cottages create a wonderfully flexible setup. Everyone gets their own cottage, kitchen, bathroom, living space, and fenced outdoor area—while the interior gate makes it easy to connect whenever you want.

It’s an especially lovely arrangement for two couples, families with older children, or friends traveling together who want the feeling of being next door without giving up privacy.

Both cottages are thoughtfully appointed with the simple comforts that make an Ojai stay feel easy and relaxed.

Just a short drive from downtown Ojai, you’ll be close to local shops, restaurants, galleries, the farmers market, and nearby hiking trails. Or stay close to home, settle into your own little gardens, and let the quiet pace of the valley do the rest.

Pets
We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs. A $95 per pet fee applies.

Private Wellness Stays
Our property is part of a Private Membership Association (PMA), hosted by our ministry, Sacred Ground Ojai. Through intentional hospitality, thoughtful property stewardship and selected space-transformation projects, we create places that are beautiful, peaceful and deeply cared for. After booking, the guest who made the reservation will just need to sign a quick membership agreement (no extra costs). You’re free to cancel your membership anytime after your visit.

A portion of the proceeds from your stay supports ministry projects that bring hope, comfort, and meaningful change to individuals and families in need.

Recent projects have included transforming a home for children who have experienced sexual abuse, creating magical gift boxes for a three-year-old who underwent a leg amputation, and transforming a house into a warm, welcoming home for a single mother escaping domestic violence.

Through your stay, you become part of something bigger—helping us create spaces of healing, restore hope, and remind people in difficult circumstances that they are seen, loved, and supported.

While we honor the standard cancellation timeframes displayed on this platform, please be aware that as an Integrated Property Manager, we act as the Merchant of Record. All guest-initiated cancellations are subject to a non-refundable 3% administrative processing fee to cover non-refundable credit card merchant processing costs.
House Rules

Quiet Retreat – No Parties
This is a peaceful property intended for rest and relaxation. Parties, events, gatherings, and loud music are not permitted. Quiet hours begin at 9:00 PM. Violations may result in cancellation without refund.

No Smoking
Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere on the property.

Occupancy
Only registered guests are permitted on the property. No unapproved visitors.

General Courtesy & Compliance
Guests are expected to be respectful of neighbors at all times. Any behavior that violates house rules or disrupts the peaceful nature of the property may result in immediate removal without refund.
