Charming Private Cottage in Ojai

This charming private cottage sleeps up to three and offers a peaceful, stylish retreat nestled under the trees. Classically styled and thoughtfully designed for comfort, it features a full kitchen, King bedroom, a compact sleeper chair, a cozy fireplace, TV, laundry room and French doors that open to a private porch and fenced backyard. Ideal for a restful getaway or extended stay, the cottage provides a quiet escape with easy access to the town of Ojai.

The cottage is a detached tiny home with everything you need for a comfortable, peaceful, and private stay. Whether you choose to cook meals in the full kitchen, relax by the fireplace, watch TV, or enjoy the outdoor space under the trees, the setting feels quiet and secluded.

Guests have access to the cottage and its private, fenced backyard. As the property is shared with the main house, we kindly ask that guests remain within their private fenced area and not use the front yard, to help maintain privacy for everyone.

You’ll have your own private entrance code and access to our Ojai guidebook upon arrival. We’re easy to reach anytime through Airbnb, by phone (call or text), or via our guest website.

The home is located in a serene, residential area in Meiners Oaks, yet on the edge of the Arbolada—one of Ojai’s most established and desirable neighborhoods, known for its quiet, tree-lined streets, custom homes, and large lots that offer privacy while still being just minutes from downtown Ojai.

Just a short drive away you’ll find Coffee Connection, a beloved local coffee house in Meiners Oaks serving hand-crafted organic coffee and espresso in a community-oriented space. Farmer and the Cook, a local favorite for organic meals and market goods, is also nearby, as is Ojai Noodle House, offering casual, locally loved dining.

For outdoor enjoyment, the Ojai Meadows Preserve is close by, providing open space, walking paths, and opportunities for bird-watching and nature outings.

Although downtown Ojai is just a 5-minute drive, it’s approximately a 30 minute walk. Once you leave the neighborhood, a pleasant sidewalk connects the home to the bike path on the backside of town, providing a scenic and safe route on foot or bikes.

Private Wellness Club
Our property is part of a Private Membership Association (PMA)—similar to other wellness retreats in Ojai. After booking, the guest who made the reservation will just need to sign a quick membership agreement (no extra costs). You’re free to cancel your membership anytime after your visit.

Pets
We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs. A $95 per pet fee applies.
Cottage House Rules

Quiet Retreat – No Parties
This cottage is intended for rest and relaxation. Parties, events, gatherings, and loud music are not permitted at any time. Quiet hours begin at 9:00 PM and are strictly observed.

Shared Property
The cottage is located on a shared estate. Please be respectful of the privacy and comfort of other guests on the property at all times.

No Access to Main Amenities
Please note that the pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, and other amenities located elsewhere on the property are not included with the cottage rental.

Occupancy
The cottage accommodates a maximum of 3 registered guests. Only guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the property. No visitors without prior approval.

No Smoking
Smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted inside the cottage or anywhere on the property.

Pets
Up to two well-behaved dogs may be permitted with prior approval.
• Dogs must remain under control at all times.
• No roaming on shared grounds.
• No unattended pets inside the cottage.
• No pets on furniture or bedding.
• Please clean up promptly after your pet.

Failure to follow pet policies may result in additional fees.

General Courtesy
Guests are expected to treat the cottage, grounds, and neighboring guests with care and respect. Any behavior that disrupts the peaceful nature of the property may result in cancellation without refund.
