This was the most incredible hostel I’ve ever stayed at. The property was lovely, the staff was helpful and kind, the location is excellent. And the Japanese baths were fantastic.

We stayed here for a night in a private room. The area is very well located - this was the biggest advantage. Amenities are limited compared to other hotels that I've stayed in..e.g. slippers cost extra, only 1 towel complimentary per person per stay, etc. But overall, I had picked it for the convenience, and that goal was achieved. Will recommend for very short stays!

Avoid.

Room was completely misadvertised as having a shower/bath, there was only communal available and even that had limited availability. The room had paper thin walls and wasn't exactly the cleanest one I have stayed at. I checked out early considering the false advertising and unacceptable conditions, the manager was unhelpful and came up with bogus excuses, refusing any refund. It's a Showa era youth hostel, nothing more. Avoid.

コップ無し、お茶コーヒーなど無し 湯沸かしポット、冷蔵庫有り スリッパ無し、寝巻き無し 歯ブラシ等の洗面具無し ハンドソープ有り シーツの替え３日に一回、各自で押し入れからシャツなど寝具を出し用意をする、シーツは洗われているが長年の使用で加齢臭の様な臭いがきつい バスタオル有料交換、手拭いサイズは無し

立地も良く、中のフロントやカフェスペースが広くてよかった。宿泊者はさらに奥のキッチンスペースにあるダイニングエリアも使えるのがよかった。こちらにもソファがあるためのんびりできる。 温泉もちょうどいい大きさでリラックスするには十分！泉質もよかった。宿泊スペースも圧迫感もなく、マットレスも厚めで寝やすかった。 他の宿泊客の存在感もあまり感じないため、ストレスもなく過ごせた。

初日の出が見れる大変快適なゲストハウス

年末年始4人部屋トイレ共同に5泊させて頂きました。アメニティはありませんが、我が家はもともと旅行の時はシャンプーや歯ブラシなどの洗面セットは持参していますので、全くもんだはありません。タオルも小さいのを持参していましたが、チェックイン時にバスタオルを貸してくださりましたので、バスタオルはかさばるので持参していなかったのでありがたかったです。お洗濯をして帰るまで使わせて頂きました。ゲストハウスですが大浴場があり、毎日入りました。共同キッチンも清潔です。大きな冷蔵庫に食料をいれ、毎日便利に利用しました。 立地も大変よく空港バスの別府北浜停が、すぐ近くで、楽でした。お正月はすぐ横の海岸沿いに行き、初日の出を見ることができました。 スーパーはゆめタウンが歩いてすぐなので、食料の調達も困りません。大変快適な年末年始の家族旅行を過ごせました、またぜひ利用させて頂きます。
