We had such an amazing stay at Bettei Haruki! The girl who served us was so attentive and showed us such warm welcome. Kaiseki meal was unforgettably delicious and the room was so comfortable. I will definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

Great place to stay and relax

Yuki-San was great in helping and explaining, always with a smile. Great host and great experience overall. Free drinks in the fridge and Nespresso coffee much appreciated. Dinner and breakfast exquisitely served and very delicious.

Delightful Beppu Onsen experience

Bettei Haruki is unique having only 6 spacious Japanese rooms. We loved their two gorgeous Onsen rooms which were perfect in every detail - will never forget these onsens and will miss them dearly. We had their omasake dinner menu which was served with much care. Well done Bettei Haruki management.

This hotel is overall good, but there is no shuttle service, therefore a taxi would be needed. There are not many stores nearby, but hotel staff are very nice and very patient with guests requests. The only one thing we think this hotel can improve is that the hotel is kind old. Need renovation if it can be done.

가성비 떨어짐

- 예약 (1점 / 5점) - 애초에 원했던 것은 방에 욕조가 있는 것으로 예약을 원했고 주문한 방을 보니 3개의 욕조 사용 가능이라고 되어 있고 확정 메일로 보내온 사진도 방안에 욕조가 있는 것이어서 현지에 왔더니, 2층 방에 욕조 없는 트윈 룸을 신청한 것이라 하였다. 왜 사진과 실제가 다르냐고 항의 했으나 그것은 자기들도 모른다고 함. 거의 2시간 30분동안 체크인을 못하고 hotels.com 과 베테이 하루키 직원과의 실랑이 끝에 hotels.com 이 베테이 하루키 측에 일부 보상을 요구하기로 하고 지내기로 함. - 대응 느리고, 문의에 대한 답변도 명확치 못해 한국인이 예약하기에는 여러가지 어려움. - 음식 (5점/5점) - 2박 머무르며 저녁 2번 아침 2번을 먹었는데 만족함. - 직원 친절도 (5점/5점) - 미안해서 그런지 전반적으로 친절함 - 위치 (2점/5점) - 벳푸 역과 15분택시 거리로 주변의 볼것이 없고 시내로 나오기 불편함 - 단지, 도보로 15분 거리에 관광지 있음. - 시설 (3점/5점) - 전반적으로 낡은 느낌이나 일본 가정 체험하려면 무난함 - 공용 욕조는 무리없이 사용 가능 - 총평 (2점/5점) - 2박에 2명 머무르는 데 아침,저녁 포함한 가격이 80만원을 넘는다면 구지 이곳을 선택할 필요는 없을 듯 하다. 이 가격에 가성비 좋은 료칸은 충분히 있다고 본다. 뷰도 특히 좋지 않은 이곳 동네에 위치한 2층 트윈 방에서 1박에 40만원을 사용하느니 다른 곳을 추천해 본다.
