"Wir haben spontan noch nach einer Unterkunft auf Sylt gesucht, und dieses Apartment gebucht. Als wir ankamen war zunächst unklar welcher Parkplatz für uns bestimmt war, da nirgends stand, welcher Parkplatz für uns bestimmt war. Angekommen im Apartment roch es etwas abgestanden. Das Bett war nicht gemacht, wir fanden ein Sofa auf das Ausklappbar war. Hier eine Warnung das "Bett" quietscht und knatscht bei jeder kleinsten Bewegung. Ein Bett kann man das eigentlich nicht nennen. Dieses Apartment...

Dorint Strandresort & Spa Sylt/Westerland

10/10 Excellent

"We had an all-around perfect experience at the Dorint Hotel at Sylt. The staff was incredibly friendly and generously allowed us both an early check-in and a late checkout. The breakfast buffet was huge and absolutely delicious. I had everything you could possibly think of, from eggs and fish to fresh German bread, yogurt, fresh fruit, Rote Grütze, cheeses, and so much more. Our room was comfortable, recently renovated with brand-new beds, and spotlessly clean, featuring large windows and a lovely balcony. The location is ideal, very close to the beach as well as the charming little town with its shops and restaurants. To top it all off, the hotel offers a great spa and a fantastic indoor pool. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!"

"Nice old-style hotel with new upgrades. Breakfast is good and you can have dinner there as well. Easy to walk to restaurants and nearby shopping. Parking is a bit hard to attain, especially if you don't have a compact car. Full size cars are hard to park in the area. Try to avoid summertime if you require AC, as the rooms I've stayed in don't have AC. This is the only downside."

"This was a fantastic place and fantastic value stay; the room, kitchenette and bathroom were immaculate - super clean. The room was really well decorated, the bed was comfortable, the bedding was clean, the shower was hot and had great water pressure. There was a nice view of the garden. Everything was brilliantly designed and worked. For example, the bedside light had both a USB A and USB C charging point underneath; the first I’ve seen to have both. When I called ahead because I’d be arriving late, Bettina was super helpful and then, when I was checking out, Grace could not have been more brilliant, giving me directions to where I was going, offering to store my luggage. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Tonder. One tiny thing, if you have heavy luggage or have any mobility issues, you might want to request a ground floor room as you have to go up a metal staircase for the first floor. I was on the first floor and felt very secure. Plus it’s four minutes away from Tønder station. Highly recommended."
