The location of this hotel is amazing. This is an older hotel so you can see where redo’s have been done. One thing was a sea view, for most of the rooms, will have a roofline in view. It still allows for a spectacular view when standing. Great stay, fun village to visit.

The hotel is in an excellent spot overlooking the beach. It’s particularly lovely at sunset the breakfast was excellent and the staff are very helpful. The actual room was clean and hygienic. The only issue we had is that the hotel looks worn out it needs to uplift, painting and show an element of modernisation. Overall we enjoyed our day.

Das Zimmer im Keller erreichbar über eine Rampe, welche an eine kleine Parkgarage erinnert. Das Zimmer schlicht und steril, die Aussicht zum Strand versperrt durch eine Holztreppe zum Restaurant im Geschiss darüber. Insgesamt sehr dunkel und ungemütlich. Lage top.

The overhead shower wasn't very strong, and the smaller shower head had to be hand held because the holder was broken. The shower leaked water onto the bathroom floor. There was only one shelf in the bathroom and it was slatted, so the cheap sachets provided for shampoo etc fell to the floor. Basically there was no room to put anything. The sink plug was useless. The beds were comfortable, and the bedding clean. The swimming pool was quite nice, although the shallow end was too shallow for an adult to swim. But good non slip flooring all around it, and a good handrail for the mobility impaired. Breakfast was OK but not as good a choice as I would have expected for the price charged. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, though one or two were offhand. Coffee was great once someone pointed out that the Expresso machine in the bar was an option, if you could find someone willing to operate it. The layout of food and cutlery and plates was awful - so hard to find anything! There was an unmarked slope on the dining area floor, which was disconcerting for me, and worse for those less mobile. The buffet dinner is worth considering if you don't want to leave the hotel; the local restaurants are much better - but pricier. You can't beat the view, either from the rooms on the front or from the bar area. This is really the only reason to stay here - that and the pool.

Serviço de praia, inexistente; sequer emprestam toalhas, as quais podem ser retiradas mediante o pagamento de 20 euros, em dinheiro vivo, os quais serão devolvidos quando as toalhas forem devolvidas. Café da manhã caótico, manuseio inadequado, enfim… muito a desejar.

Tasty breakfast and dinner buffets. Power outlets a scarcity in rooms. Overall, great location and pleasant experience. Would recommend, particularly to those walking Fisherman’s Trail.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. Although it is advertised as a 4-star property, it does not even meet the standards of a 3-star hotel. The owners of the hotel group should spend at least a couple of nights here themselves to understand how uncomfortable the rooms are and how poorly the entire property is maintained. The furniture is old, the rooms are outdated, and the hotel feels neglected. Instead of a 4-star hotel, it feels more like staying in a hostel. One of the most surprising things was that the hotel charges €2.50 per night just to use the in-room safe. For a hotel claiming to be 4 stars, this kind of extra charge feels unnecessarily petty and leaves a very poor impression.

Hôtel correct, sans plus. Aucune insonorisation. Comme notre fenêtre sans moustiquaire était ouverte à notre arrivée, les moustiques ont partagé la chambre avec nous.
