Some things to know..
There are good things about this specific property, view, location, kitchen is well stocked, communication with the management company was easy. The layout however is a bit odd. Other than the bunk room, the bedrooms are extremely small which is why none of them have a king. There is an odd stairway off the master that leads up to a door that connects to the upper unit. There is a key lock on it but it would have been nice to have some way on our side to make sure it wasn’t opened similar to how hotels are setup. This unit is below another one and the walls are very thin. There was a family staying above us who didn’t seem to be doing anything too exciting but we could hear the constant thudding of them just walking around. When they flushed the toilet you could hear the water come down the pipes and swirl around in the walls. I’m not super sensitive to noise but the combo of noises was loud enough to be annoying when I was awake and to wake me up when I was asleep. The area rug in the living room was dirty and smelled. There is what appears to be rust, and a good amount of it, on the inside drywall all the way around the front part of the building below the windows. We are pretty regular visitors to Oceanside and have stayed in a fair number of rentals there over the years. Although this property has some good things about it, I would say our stay here was below average (thus the 2 star rating) and wouldn’t stay here again.
