「Incredible stay at Basalt Retreat! We enjoyed a cozy and luxurious evening the beautiful vineyard, made even more lovely by the complimentary bottle of prosecco and warm hot cocoa. The space itself is gorgeous and so well appointed—from the fascinating books to the gorgeously-scented bath products. Breakfast was delicious: an exquisite croissant loaf with butter and fig jam, plus yogurt and muesli, all made by local purveyors. If you have time, make sure to get lunch at the lovely restaurant....

「Amazing experience! Great for families who want to vacation simply and see amazing views, both the hills and cows as well as the vast array of stars. We plan on coming back in the future! Evan (the host) was fantastic.」

「Loved everything about this place! Beautiful peaceful setting, cosy interior with great attention to detail - all while being off the grid. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway with a bit of character. Communication with thehost was very good and we had complete privacy during our stay but I am sure help would have been at hand if...
