JUST renovated 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home on Monroe St. in Ocean Isle. Beach access at the end of our street and walking distance to restaurants, playground, shopping and more! You’ll never need your car.
Bring your boat and dock it on the private dock or enjoy the two kayaks while you’re here. Rinse off afterward in your private outdoor shower.
Spend your mornings sipping coffee on the expansive back deck or on the swings down below overlooking the water.
Rainy day? No problem! We have arcade style basketball, a Foosball table, a switch, and plenty of books, puzzles and board games to keep you entertained.
For dinner, enjoy our fully stocked kitchen, brand new appliances, new quartz countertops or grill out on our big green egg.
After a full day in the sun, you’ll never sleep better in one of our four bedrooms. Master offers a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with stand up shower. Second guest room on main floor offers a queen bed and attached bathroom that doubles as the hall bath. Upstairs, we offer Jack and Jill bedrooms (one king room; one queen room) with large shared bathroom (tub and shower) in between.
For the littles in your life, we have a pack n play, extra blow up mattress, kids dishes/utensils, and plenty of indoor toys and beach toys. Feel free to use the bikes to ride around the island or the wagon to tow chairs, toys and kids to the beach.
We can’t wait to share our home with you! OIB is a family vacation dream. Make sure you check out the Farmers market, Friday night concerts, splash pad, museum, boat rentals, mini golf course, arcade and, of course, our beautiful beach.

Sat-Sat 7 day rentals ONLY from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Really nice house!

House was in wonderful shape! Well appointed. Gentle suggestions...Could have had a better mattress in primary bedroom and better televisions in the bedroomsBut we had a wonderful week in a very nice house! Thank you!

What a wonderful vacation! In her check-in instructions, Amanda said “our house is your house”, and that is exactly how it felt! The house is beautiful, well stocked, beds were comfortable, and it was the perfect size for our family vacation. Amanda was very responsive to questions and gave us helpful suggestions. We spent our days on the beach, early evenings on the dock fishing or kayaking in the canal, and nights playing board games. We would definitely stay there again!

OIB getaway

The host/owner was a pleasure to work with. The home was well maintained with lots of beach accessories and plenty to do to keep us entertained. The location is prime for everything to see, do, and enjoy on OIB. I would stay again and hope to do so next Memorial Day weekend.

This property has it all!

We had an incredible stay at this gorgeous beach property. The property owner was incredibly responsive and I have never had an easier check in / check out process. The home has tons of activities for children and the close proximity to the beach / park / restaurants is perfect. 5 star expierence. I would love to stay here every visit to OIB.

Perfect host and such a lovely home!

We absolutely loved our stay here over July 4th! Amanda is an amazing host and their home is stocked so well, tons of great amenities, perfect location and we have zero complaints! Our boys loved the foosball table and arcade game and we loved being able to bring our boat. The house is decorated so lovely and the outdoor space downstairs is perfect.

CLEAN, Bright, Loaded

This property was pretty fabulous. She may not be a looker from the street, but makes up for it where it really counts! When renting a beach house there are a few things I really look for and this house ticked all the boxes and raised the bar. The property was extremely clean and best of all, not a bug in sight for the two weeks we were there. If you are familiar with NC beaches at all, you know that is RARE in rentals! We were very comfy in our beds with nice linens throughout. The HVAC is powerful and the house was kept quite cool. Kitchen was outfitted pretty nicely with just about everything I needed including knives that actually cut. Again, a rarity in vacation rentals. Our toddler had a blast with all the toys and books he found in the home. The lower outdoor space was fantastic for relaxing in the evenings after a beach day and we had a great bbq with family. The homeowners were kind and responsive. We would certainly rent again.

Wonderful ocean isle home

Beautiful property recently renovated short walk to the public beach access. Kitchen with new appliances very comfortable feel and wonderful location. Fully equipped house for cooking, playing on the beach and with multiple kayaks perfect for the intercoastal waterway. Very responsive owners.

Great and relaxing

The house is quite comfortable with a lot of new updates. The amenities really provided a great touch. We loved using the kayaks and playing cornhole, fooseball and pop a shot. The outdoor shower was very helpful after the beach, and all the beach supplies were great. although a few blocks from the beach, the location was great and walking to the beach each day was very easy. Would highly recommend!

Amazing property

This was our first and not our last trip to Ocean Isle! 40 Monroe was just as described and more! Let me begin, the check in process was super easy and the host let us know it was ready before our check in time. The property had everything you need to have a wonderful vacation! The kitchen was well appointed with all utensils and spices needed to prepare dinner and enjoy the beautiful canal view! The property came with all cleaning supplies, ie. Soap in all sink areas, washing detergent for washer, plenty of shampoo/conditioner/body wash for all showers, including the outdoor shower! All beds were super comfy! Our teenage kids enjoyed the kayaks, the outdoor living area, bikes and we had sweet neighbors who offered their paddle boards for the kids to use. Our son brought his boat and we were able to use the floating dock, great addition to the property! This property will definitely be on our list to visit again! We have rented several VRBO properties and this was the best!

Better than beachfront!

Our stay was incredible! Wonderful location close to the beach. The home is beautifully renovated and has everything you’d need for a great time in OIB. We loved kayaking along the channel in the back of the home and riding bikes around the island. Foosball and basketball kept the young kids and adult kids busy when the weather wasn’t perfect. Amanda was exceptional and very responsive. We look forward to coming back again!
