Welcome to our Little Beach House (Casita de la Playa)! We are situated in the best part of West Ocean City; you can literally just park your car out-front of the cottage & walk/cycle pretty much everywhere. You will love the luxurious touches & home-feel that we've created in our recently remodeled cottage, so after a fun day in the sun, you can come home & just relax. You will instantly be able to breathe a sigh of relief when you come to our very clean cozy cottage, with our beachy design touches, bringing blues from the ocean and yellows from the sun throughout. After traveling internationally for several years, we found inspiration from the Mediterranean and tried to bring that here to you. You will find parking (3 cars worth) in front and you will pull up to see our huge front patio, where you can lounge in the sun or put the umbrella up to take a nap in the shade. The landscaping has been done professionally to bring pops of color all around. Don't forget your book, as you'll have the option to lounge on our outdoor sectional or sit on our pub style Adirondack chairs. In the evening, enjoy a glass of wine, where the solar lights will provide a relaxing ambiance. Don't worry about the bugs with our 2 Thermacells we provide to keep them at bay. And whenever you enter at night, you won’t have to worry about needing your own light, as the porch light comes on automatically at dusk. When you enter the casita, you will be blown away by how cute & clean it is. We poured so much love into this in order to provide the ultimate vacation home.


When you step in, you will smell relaxing essential oils diffusing, which you will be able to customize to your liking. You’ll see the fully-equipped kitchen to your right with Pfaltzgraff dishes, beautiful ocean blue pots & pans that you’ll fall in love with, along with anything you’d need to make a tasty dish with the brand new stainless steel appliances. Wait until you see the adorable Keurig, where you have coffee & tea K-cups at the ready to enjoy any time of day. The wall decor are actually trivets that you can pull off and use while you are whipping up something. You can wash up with natural Method brand hand & dish soaps in the mason jar containers by the sink.

Moving into the dining and living spaces, we have custom-made tables from a family in Bishopville, who make beautiful wood furniture. The very comfortable sofa is also a memory foam sleep-sofa, which has it's own pillows & Egyptian cotton sheets, so no one is drawing the short straw by sleeping on it. In the evening, enjoy a game of tic-tac-toe or get out the beach puzzle! There’s a 43” smart TV mounted on the wall that will tilt down for your viewing pleasure. We have 130+ cable channels, along with DVR & apps for streaming. Our fast WiFi supports up to 8 devices at one time with internet download speeds up to 900 Mbps and upload speeds up to 20 Mbps. We have an easy & quick ductless unit for AC & heating to your comfort.

After a long day at the beach, you’ll want to relax into our super comfortable beds. We have Egyptian cotton sheets that you can slip right into and various pillow types of your choice to get the best night’s sleep. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom, along with a portable fan for extra air flow. We offer a queen bed & a full bed, both with plenty of blankets to snuggle up in. You’ll be able to easily unpack with our luggage racks in each room and hangers in each closet. The full bedroom has a washer & dryer with detergent pods provided, so you can freshen up clothes whenever you’d like. Every room is also equipped with dimmable night lights that come on automatically in the evening, so you won't risk tripping on anything and can easily find your way to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

The bathroom has a beautiful granite countertop at the sink with upgraded lighting. You’ll find very nice spa shampoo, conditioner & body wash in the shower, that you can feel free to use. The ocean blue towels are super soft to the touch, but also highly absorbent.

As you'll see in our reviews, we take our cleaning protocols seriously. We want you to have a worry-free vacation, especially considering the times. We not only hire professional cleaners, but we commercially wash all linens, including bed spreads, shams, blankets and rugs, in between every guest. You won't find this everywhere! Also, we are super hosts on another vacation rental website, with over 25 5-star reviews!

If you decide to partake in the Maryland tradition of eating crabs, feel free to enjoy them out on our picnic table out back. You’ll also see the 2 beach cruisers, 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas & 2 boogie boards in our secure shed. After eating, if you want to work the calories off, jump on our 2 Margaritaville cruisers (bottle opener included & basket) and cruise around town, watching a picturesque sunset from the marina.

We are less than a 15 minute walk to some of the best restaurants, the marina for fishing tournament weigh-ins & charters AND the beach; while still being in a quiet, quaint neighborhood. We have ample parking, being able to accommodate up to 3 vehicles, or even a motorcycle trailer in the mix, as we love hosting our bikers! A 2 mile cycle or walk, you'll find yourself at the famous OC boardwalk! We are about a 10 minute drive to the charming small town of Berlin, where Runaway Bride was filmed and the same distance will take you to the beautiful island of Assateague, where you can see the wild ponies (at a distance, of course). We provide a State Park pass, so you can visit Assateague for free! You cannot beat the location of our cottage and we will provide so many suggestions of our favorite places in order for you to have the best time. You will absolutely love your stay at Casita de la Playa! We are looking forward to having you!

Just as a reminder, our casita is a little beach home, at just under 500 sq ft, so it's cozy, but very well thought out. That's why we limit to 4 guests, at the most. I know you'll just love it!

A few rules to note:
-Primary renter must be 25 years of age or older
-No parties or loud music
-No smoking inside or outside on property
-Quiet hours 10 PM - 8 AM
-Speed limit 5mph in our community and please watch for children
-Keep the umbrella down until you are actively using it and please do not use if it's windy
-Trash needs to be taken out on Tuesday evenings and pick up Wednesday mornings
-No pets allowed
-Bikes need to be locked whenever they are parked. We do not provide helmets, but for your safety, we recommend you bring your own.
