The Perfect Wave is an ocean block retreat on 121st Street. Whether you love sunrises or want to sleep in, this is the perfect place for you. Top floor living assures no noise from above. Walking distance to Starbucks and over 20 different restaurants, as well as Ocean City`s only ice rink. The Search for Surf is about the endless search for that perfect, fun vacation experience.

Newly renovated in 2023, the Perfect Wave is located on the top (3rd) floor of an elevated building without elevator access. The silver lining is keeping off those vacation pounds, and the privacy is better up there on the `penthouse level.`

Located in north Ocean City on 121st Street, there are two options for parking: a reserved or free first-come, first-serve parking on the street. The Schlage keypad deadbolt lock ensures security and easy access for the guest. The comfortable, pleasant, and spacious living area is exhibited with a fun collection of framed retro surf decor and a very cool faux living wall. The Perfect Wave is in the Sea Loft condominiums located on Assawoman Drive with the back of the building facing east.

Relax in the bedroom in your king bed. Blackout shades ensure you wont be awakened at sunrise. A remote powered ceiling fan will cool your skin after a day in the sun. A 55` TV set up for streaming with a bluetooth Klipsch sound bar and a one-of-a kind faux living wall. For those that like to be organized on vacation, there is plenty of dresser and closet space so you can settle in, spread out and unpack. There is even an iron and ironing board to get the wrinkles out of your Hawaiian shirts.
The bathroom has a makeup mirror, tub with a shower and sliding glass doors.

The living room is metamorphic. During the day the sectional sofa comfortably seats 4 around a coffee table perfectly sized for a family friendly round of Monopoly, Uno, or a 1,000,000 piece puzzle. The 65` TV is set up for easy streaming, and just like in the bedroom tv, has a Klipsch bluetooth sound bar. When it`s time for bed, the coffee table rolls away between the dining table and kitchen counter, leaving ample space to unpack a full sized memory foam pull out bed. Pillows are conveniently located in the bedroom closet. The slatted window shutters easily close to ensure no light slips in during the night.

When you get back to the Perfect Wave with an extra large Ledo precooked bacon pizza, a bag full of Tony Lukes cheesesteaks, or carry out steamed crabs from Rippons Seafood, you have several seating options. The kitchen bar seats 2 and the extendable table seats 4. Outside, the picnic table is perfect for rolling out paper for crackin crabs and crackin some cold ones before heading across the street to Northside Park to catch the sunset on the bay.

The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of artillery to knock out an American breakfast stacked with pancakes and scrapple. Groceries are conveniently located across the street at the Food Lion. Don`t forget to pack your reusable grocery bags or order online for grocery delivery. There is a list of links on our website for restaurant and other services offered in Ocean City. And a very important friendly host reminder to order your Über Bagels online before you`re hangry; the line gets pretty long and the breakfast sandos are outrageously good. The lucky one who goes to pick up the Über Bagel order also gets to sneak off to the Fractured Prune for a pregame breakfast treat. The Keurig coffee maker gets the job done (bring your own pods). Wawa, Dunkin, or Starbucks are all across the street all with online preorder apps.

You`ll have access to the outside shower in the parking area for rinsing off the sand and salty ocean water, along with a foot shower for those sandy feet and toys. Please help to conserve the water by ensuring the water is shut off when you`re done.

The balcony area in front of the condo has a storage bin for any beach toys you bring to the beach. We include 4 beach chairs. Also on the balcony is a comfortable picnic table for eating or just enjoying the outdoors. There is a strict policy against smoking or vaping of any form on the Sea Loft property. There can be a nice breeze that sweeps across the balcony area so please be aware of things that can blow away including the storm door blowing open. Always make sure the storm door is pulled shut.

The kitchen has a brand new dishwasher, freezer on bottom refrigerator with ice maker, oven and glass cook top stove that has an exhaust hood overhead. There is a washer and dryer in the kitchen area as well.

There are so many different restaurants and places close by its almost faster to walk to them. The cross walk on 121st Street where the Original Crab Cake Factory is located will take you across Coastal Hwy to the shopping center.

The Perfect Wave has one off-street designated parking space. The unit number is painted on the parking block. There is only one reserved space specifically for the unit space so please carpool, or if you see a spot on the street, snag it. And be sure to double check the signs that the space is not reserved. Street parking is free around the Perfect Wave. If you drove down in your EV, there is EV charging on 125th Street at Northside Park or south on 100th Street where the library is located, next to the Ocean City Fontainebleau Resort overflow parking lot. Both charging stations are free to use but you do have to pay the meter to park.

The $3 Ocean City bus stop is one block toward Coastal Highway, and runs from 6 am to 3 am daily in season. Heading north? Just walk to the end of the parking lot and catch the city bus. Heading south? Cross Coastal and there is another bus stop nearby. The OC Bay Hopper is a water taxi service available 3 blocks away at the Food Lion. Locals Seacrets alert: the Bay Hopper can help you skip the lines to all your favorite libation spots on the bayside of Ocean City. There are no long lines if you arrive by boat. Use the app for more info. Taxi and Uber/Lyft options are available as well. The Search for Surf is located within walking distance to a wide variety of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. We normally take ride sharing services like Uber / Lyft or walk when we go out since the bus can get a little crowded!

This home is located Ocean block in North Ocean City, a quieter more family oriented area. It is walking distance to 2 great locations with ample activities; Northside Park and the Carousel where you can watch fireworks and always have something to do on your vacation here. Most of our neighbors are staying in the condo are with family or friends on vacation. You will also find a variety of dining options including staples like; Wawa, McDonalds, and Starbucks all in walking distance here.

There is a bus stop one block away towards Coastal Highway. In season OC Bay Hopper (boat shuttle) is on 118th St. Taxi, Uber, or Lyft. You also have one designated off street parking space. Extra car? There is free first come first served street parking. Please be careful to only park in the assigned space, or it will be towed by a neighbor wanting their parking spot back.

We have a small security camera (Blink doorbell) outside the front door for security and check in assistance purposes. Heaven forbid anything happen, but in case it does, we will view the camera data. We want every guest to enjoy their stay and feel secure as well as enjoy a feeling of privacy. We`d rather watch the sunset than watch the Blink camera.

Traveling with children: We welcome and love hosting families with children. We encourage all families to bring whatever items you need to make your stay more comfortable with little ones. We have suggestions on our website TheSearchforSurf dot com for linen, beach and baby equipment rentals.

Please note: The person booking this unit must be at least 25 years of age and be physically present for the duration of the booking. Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the duration of the stay. The maximum number of 4 guests is a strict, enforceable rule. We do not rent to HS senior week guests. An excess cleaning fee may be charged if an excessive cleaning is needed or damage is discovered.
-Condo association rules are quiet hours 10pm-8am.
-Fire code states the maximum occupancy of this unit is 4 people at all times. 5 or more guests will result in removal.
-Guests must all be 25 years and older, if less than 25 there must someone over 25 present in the beach condo for the duration of the stay.
-No smoking anything, anywhere on property
-To maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the property please bring out your trash regularly during your stay to the large green box (dumpster) in the parking lot. Please reach out if you need more trash bags
-Please do not put large items (bones, food, coffee etc) down the garbage disposal plumbing is very delicate
-Do not flush women’s sanitary items down toilet. Place in trash can.
-No pets
-The picnic table directly in front of the condo is the only outdoor space for the unit. Do not go on to neighbors balconies as this is similar to going and sitting on someone else’s porch and is considered trespassing.
