**My Berlin Recommendations!** -Blacksmith Restaurant. Known for being farm to table, they have very unique eats and its always so fresh & delicious! It's a small place, but we've had people book our apartment just to come and eat there again! -Forgotten 50 Distilling, Casual, trendy, modern spot, featuring creative crafted cocktails, crab-inspired selections and a range of pub dishes. -Atlantic Hotel, classic & classy Berlin restaurant, nice outdoor seating to enjoy the street, american foods, seafood. -Assateague Crab House you will pass by on your way to Assateague Park. Eastern shore down home cooked seafood! Fresh fantastic seafood & crabs! -The Sterling Tavern, (some seafood) american food, tacos & such, very good, they sometimes have bands play at night, more laid back atmosphere. -Windmill Creek Vineyard & Winery and The Garden Grill in Berlin, MD is a “Can't miss” destination for unique wines, great food, live music and events. (5 minute drive from the apartment.)
There are classic lunch places that are yummy if you need a quick bite or carryout, Rayne's Reef, Pops Kitchen.
For dessert, there's Baked Dessert, which is only open during the day, very good. & then a USA Today Awarded favorite, Island Creamery Ice Cream, they are open day and busy at night, it is the best ice cream around!
For breakfast directly below the apartment is The Berlin Cafe, excellent coffee, drinks, baked goods, macarons, etc.
As far as activities, we love Assateague! I recommend the National Park, instead of the State park. It is a little farther of a drive, but worth it, there is so much more to explore! Great hiking trails, lots of beaches. More areas to see the wild ponies!
Of course Ocean City Beach & Boardwalk is only a 10 minute drive away!
There are also plenty of museums located right downtown in Berlin to explore! The Mermaid Museum in Berlin is a fun new activity for a rainy day! Also the new Ghost Museum! Of course there are many shops right outside your front door step to explore as well!
A cool little local area is sunset marina in west ocean city, about a 10 min drive from the apartment. Its a local commercial fishing harbor with lots of great restaurants! Pretty much all the restaurants are right on the water, you can sit back and check out the boats!

PERFECT location for activities in Berlin. We didn’t get in the car once - it was a very comfortable stay and we could open the windows and listen to the music and watch what was happening on Main Street. Super nice place.
We had a lovely stay in this apartment. We were meeting family for a 4 day visit to Berlin and Asseteague Island, so this fit the bill perfectly. Although right on the street, it's not noisy at all. King size bed comfortable. Kitchenette worked out very well. We would certainly be back.
Generally, our stay in this unique little apartment in Berlin, MD, was wonderful. It’s central location downtown was an huge plus; and the apartment itself was well equipped and comfortable. The only real concern we had was that there were two issues that were immediately evident upon arrival: no functioning lights in the front stairwell so it was unusable and a problem with the TV internet connections. I talked with the property manager within an hour of arrival. She indicated that she would be by the next day to rectify the issues. We were out the following day; but nothing ever got fixed. So for the whole stay, we had to use the back entrance and had limited access to the TV—not much of an issue for us, but it was for our granddaughter. I would hope that these items get repaired and that management handles others’ concerns more directly.
I felt a bit like Holmes & Watson staying on Baker Street, I really enjoyed it! There’s a coffee shop right downstairs which is usually open around 7, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby to eat at.
We stayed here for our 41st wedding anniversary and it was perfect in both appearance and location. We will definitely want to stay here next year for our anniversary.
Enjoyed the convenience of the location of the property and the ability to walk downstairs to have my morning coffee. One of our favorite towns to visit!
Great little apartment in the heart of downtown Berlin. Restaurants and shops near by and free parking, which is limited but we were able to get a spot even during their annual Fiddlers Festival.

Looks better on line
Needs to be updated, no keurig machine. Moldy smell in apt. I wouldn't stay here again
Loved Berlin, and especially this apartment just above the adorable coffee shop and bakery!
Great location in the center of adorable Berlin! The town is picturesque and loved being there for the Easter festival! This apartment was perfect for 2 night stay firme, my daughter, and her boyfriend! Thank you!
Cute little place right in the heart of Berlin. Communication was great. Arrived in middle of night with family and no issues getting in. Thank you Olivia!
Perfect location-loved the accessibility to restaurants, coffee shops and stores. The light shining in the bedroom at night was still an issue (noted by previous reviews) and the couch in the living area was pretty dingy but was still a cute place.
We chose this apartment specifically to check out town of Berlin and it’s surrounding area. Did not disappoint ! The apartment was clean and well appointed , livingroom provides a relaxed ambience. Parking ease and access to main st shops and restaurants couldn’t be better.
The rental space was very comfortable and nice. The location was great, right in the main road with easy access to parking, shops and food. The kitchen was well organized with all of right things if you want to make a quick meal and don’t want to go out. There is a great table right by the front window that was great for watching the town, writing and planning the days journey. It was super easy to explore the surrounding areas.
The location was perfect and had free parking. We enjoyed downtown Berlin and quick access to Assateague Island NP. Bed was comfortable and Olivia was a very responsive host. The only issue was lack of overhead lighting in the room and fan would be nice in the bedroom. Very clean. We loved the Farmers Market right outside the front door!
The bed was comfortable and all was clean. Stairs were difficult because of my age but safe enough. There was a violation posted on the front door by the government for poor condition of of the door frame. Only my daughter and I stayed in the apartment so we shared the bed. If my son-in-law and grandson had stayed, it would not have been comfortable sleeping because both are very tall and the futon and blowup mattress would have been too short. Maybe there should be a stipulation about apartment suitable to 2 adults/2 children.
All that we needed. King size bed, Kitchen, Bathroom, and cozy living room overlooking busy street shoppers. Vehicle traffic was no problem at all. Light switches were a little baffling. Figured some didn't work. Beware this apartment is up a flight of stairs. Short distance to Assateague Island National Park. We would stay here again.
We loved our stay in this convenient property in the heart of Berlin. Check-in was easy and the parking was convenient. The apartment itself was comfortable and clean, with the smell of coffee and baked goods from the coffee shop downstairs completing the atmosphere. This was a great spot to be able to walk around Berlin and quickly pop back in to regroup.
For allergy reasons, my husband and I do a lot of our own cooking and it was great having a kitchen readily available. In the future, we may bring our own cutlery and additional kitchenware to supplement the items already present in the kitchen. That being said, we enjoyed our stay here immensely and would gladly return the next time we make our way to Berlin!
