I love staying a few days at this cabin It feels very secluded though close to all amenities in the city.
The main reason I book is to allow my dog to have a big fencing yard in this did not disappoint, Great secluded location especially if you have a dog that likes to roam.
Would definitely stay here again.
Very quiet, rural peaceful property. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The cabin was nice and clean and owner was very helpful and responded quickly!
My husband and dogs had a wonderful time here. We really enjoyed the large outdoor space. The cabin may have been rustic looking but it had everything and was well maintained and every worked.
I used this cabin for a student short film and had a great experience. The host was extremely helpful and kind. It is a very peaceful location, so I highly recommend it! Thank you for the awesome stay! 📸
Very large, gated yard. Had my daughter's baby shower over the weekend and thankfully we brought many of our own supplies. Limited amenities such as dishware or cooking supllies other than pots and pans. Structure needs updating but was comfortable and clean. Large porch area with plenty of space. Very affordable diring the spring break period in Florida. Not wherlchair accessible as it is on stilts.
The home was clean and functional with the exception of the dishwasher. We were disappointed that many “renovations” were not finished (no window trim, gaps/cracks on ceiling, unfinished door trim, etc..). Plus, the plastic folding tables, sectional in the bedroom, no dresser to put clothes, water damaged kitchen cabinets and ugly wallpaper did not make it a vacation rental. The outside does look like a cabin but inside looks like an old 70’s trailer without central air. The owner should be aware there’s a huge wasp nest under the eves by the sliding glass door.
My husband and I stayed two nights here for a quick, quiet peaceful place. We wanted something that was rustic and that had amenities. This cabin came through. It’s exactly as pictured and the communication with the host is fast, helpful and courteous. This place is close to Ocala downtown if that’s where you want to go (literally like less than 10 minute drive) and close to Silver springs state park so you can go hiking, swimming, shopping or dining. It has it all. Definitely a peaceful retreat and the fenced in yard allowed or dog to explore safely. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!!
I want to start by saying the communication with the owner was amazing. The property is large and fenced in so perfect for a my dog to run. The inside was very clean at first glance. The beds were so comfortable and having a tv in the living room and master was great.
Cons of the house:
The A/C units couldn’t keep up with the afternoon heat even being set at 66 so we froze durning the night. I did have to take out and clean the filter and metal grates on both units. The bathtub and kitchen sink had no drain plugs to be able to bath my toddler or properly wash dishes. We stayed for 5 days so ended up needing to get a mop and drain plugs. The owner did end up allowing us to get the vacuum out so I could keep up with my toddlers mess.
Again even with the issues the owner was amazing with apologies and communication to try and address the issues we had.
We had a great time touring the Ocala area. This little cabin is centrally located and minutes from everything. We will definitely like to stay here again.
We needed a place to stay awhile attending Rock the Country 2025. The place is in a quiet location and was very clean. Communication with the property manager was top notch.
My husband and I stayed here and loved how peaceful and quiet it was. The cabin has a great rustic feel but is still close to everything in town. Miguel was helpful and communicative. We loved the unique style and accommodations.
This cottage worked perfectly for our trip. It was close to work and to areas we wanted to explore on our personal time. There was a great fenced yard for the dogs. We were able to enjoy the deck. The kitchen saved me time not going out for breakfast before my early morning meetings. The bedrooms and bathroom were very comfortable.
Clean, spacious, host was communicative and kept us in the loop as we unfortunately were without WiFi our whole stay due to a cut wire in the neighborhood. House was clean. Backyard is fenced in. Unfortunately there aren’t a ton of amenities (no extra towels, sheets, the couch was not actually a fouton but was a very comfy couch none the less) - overall I would love to stay here again. Just bring exrra towels or sheets if you’re using more than the two beds, and I would also maybe suggest bringing games or something to entertain just incase you lost WiFi or have rain. The house was super clean, comfy, and our host was awesome. Thanks Miguel!
