The staff were wonderful and very helpful but it is the most bizarre hotel I've ever stayed at. From the decor to the bird noises inside the hotel I was a bit confused. Loved the spa bath though. I'll probably go back because it's so weird. My kind of place.

Kashintei Shirahama is definitely one of the best Japanese ryokans we have visited. Halcoya Hanare A lodging where you can enjoy wood / Iwate-gun Iwate
The house is new and clean. It is a quiet and friendly place. However, the location given on the website is not correct, although it is listed correctly on Google Maps. Communication with the owner about check-in was also not very satisfying. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time overall.
