Golf Break with friends

Firstly I would like to say thank you to Helmut as the communication has been first class with all the changes around COVID. The villa is in a great area for families and golfers as the villa is a 5 min walk to the practice area and first tee through the gated complex. Really impressed with the villa, exactly as it says in the description and very clean and with modern tech around the house. You will def need a hire car to get around as taxi's can be expensive if you dine outside of the local area, although recommend eating at nearby Obidos and surrounding places. Welcome pack was very nice with basics and very detailed information pack about the villa and what to do. One information missing - Would have been good to get some taxi numbers in the pack but the nearby hotel / clubhouse has these too. Main golf courses - West Cliff and Royal Obidos is around 10-15 mins drive which both are great courses and Praia Del Rey walking distance from the villa. Nice pool, very clean and nice temp at this time of year. Overall, we all really enjoyed our stay and would def visit again. Thanks Jon

Excellent compromis entre plage et calme dans un parc fleuri

maison alliant la convivialité, le confort , le calme , le confort , l’indépendance . Déjeuner le matin en admirant les hortensias , en guettant l’écureuil a été un plaisir . Boire l aperitif à l ombre de l arbre à grenadille , manger un barbecue bien installé sur les fauteuils extérieur, souper dehors avec un petit air frais , flaner à la piscine chauffée , tout a été un plaisir. cuisine hyper équipée . Une maison de vacances à recommander , si en plus on est golfeur ce doit être le top!

Fabulous property!

Everything about our stay at Casa da Pinha was top notch. From our very first interaction with Helmut, we were treated like royalty. Incredibly informative "welcome package" was sent to us well in advance so that we could prepare for our stay. All instructions were clear and incredibly helpful (including driving directions from Lisbon, how to check in and pick up keys, details about renting golf clubs, where to go for the best tennis instruction, advice about activities nearby, and more...). The property is exactly as it is described (and pictured) in the listing and the kitchen is the best equipped vacation rental we've ever seen. Everything was super clean, beds were very comfortable, and the Smart TV set-up allowed for Netflix on rainy nights. The welcome package of groceries was a huge help and Helmut checked in to ensure that we had settled in comfortably. In a word: superb! Just as previous guests have indicated, having access to a car is important as groceries and exploring the beautiful surrounding areas require transportation. We loved our stay and recommend it highly.

Efetuamos reserva online, que publicitou uma casa com piscina privada com imagens em conformidade nao obstante a piscina é do condômino para os hóspedes em geral como acontece por exemplo em hotéis. Dada a situação atual( covid-19) uma das escolhas da casa foi piscina privada.

Family holiday

Very nice large villa with plenty of room for our group, 2 couples/1 teenage son and 1 teenage daughter. Lovely grounds/swimming pools and beach. But you do need a car. The villa was well equipped but we did struggle to find cupboard space for dry food/tins etc. in the kitchen as there was so much kitchen equipment already in all the cupboards and on the work tops. Tennis facilities good value and courts always available. Golf abit more exclusive and be advised to take all your own equipment. Large Supermarket at Óbidos about 20 minute drive away small shop at Sierra D’El Ray for essentials10 minute drive.

One week in July for surfing

We really enjoyed this spacious apartment with high ceilings, nicely decorated, quiet and private, and all the amenities included! We especially appreciated the welcome bag of groceries after a long day and late arrival!! 🙏🏼 We liked the proximity 15 min drive to Baleal and Obidos Lagoon where we did surfing and kitesurfing with our teenagers. Also enjoyed the clubhouse food, golfing, and walking distance to Marriott and its beach.

Absolutely superb. The best property we have EVER stayed in whilst on holiday.

This property is superb. It includes everything you could possess think of needing. A brilliant base for the larger family. Communication with the host owners also excellent. I would highly recommend to any families who appreciate the finer things in life.

Outstanding Accommodation at Casa Pinha

Before we even arrived at Casa Pinha, Helmut had sent us lots of information about the local area (things to see/do, best restaurants, shopping etc.) and quickly answered any questions we had. He organised the layout of the bedrooms to suit our needs and could not have been more helpful. The house itself was spotlessly clean and had everything you could want and plenty more besides! It is very close to the golf course and comes equipped with washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, BBQ, Smart TV with satellite channels and Apple TV. The kitchen is well stocked with all manner of herbs and spices not to mention washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, clingfilm, clips etc. Basically, everything you have in your kitchen at home! The beds are comfortable, the rooms large, the decor top quality. There were 8 of us and the house never felt small or cramped. We stayed for 2 weeks and after a week the cleaning staff arrived and cleaned the whole house from top to bottom, replacing all of the towels and linen. The house is in a gated development with 3 lovely pools (1 heated) and magnificent, manicured grounds with an abundance of beautiful plants and flowers. I am not normally so effusive in my reviews but I can say with certainty that Casa Pinha was the best-appointed property we have ever rented and Helmut the finest host I have ever encountered. I cannot recommend this property highly enough!

Great resort and golf

We had a great stay in Praia D'el Rey, golf course was very good and the area lovely. It is a quiet area but a good place for a family or golf vacation. The property managaer left us a nice welcome package and provided an excellent area guide.

Lovely spacious resort

The overall resort reminded us of an upscale Florida timeshare. Unfortunately the weather when we were there at the end of May was cold and rainy, seriously limiting the amount of time we could spend at the pools or beach. However the large spacious interior of the unit meant that there was lots of room for our group of six adults to sit around inside without feeling at all crowded. The kitchen was the best furnished of any we have ever stayed in with basic spices available, so we did not have to go buy a whole container of pepper or olive oil for a one week stay. The owners have compiled a very detailed list of everything in the area with directions; beaches, markets, historical sites, restaurants etc, which we found very useful. As well he responded very quickly to emailed questions. There are a lot of appealing and varied attractions in the area. The only drawback we found was that it was ~10 minute drive to the nearest village.

Nach Hause kommen!

Vor 2 Jahren waren wir (4-köpfige Familie mit fast erwachsenen Kindern) das erste mal im Casa Pinha. Nun sind wir mit einer befreundeten Familie und damit insgesamt 7 Erwachsenen zurückgekehrt und es war wie nach Hause zu kommen! Das Haus und die gesamte Anlage haben nichts an Ihrem Charme und an ihrer Anziehungskraft verloren. Wir haben zu siebt eine völlig entspannte Woche mit viel Zeit beim Surfen in Peniche, beim Golfen, am Pool oder auf der Terrasse mit Kaffee und Bolos oder einem Porttonic verbracht. In der Regel haben wir gemeinsam in der toll eingerichteten Küche gekocht oder die tollen Produkte des örtlichen Metzgers gegrillt. Wir kommen wieder. Casa Pinha hat einen Spitzenplatz in meinen persönlichen Alltagsfluchtdestinationen.

Quality Time

Casa Pinha war für uns der perfekte Ort, um als 4 köpfige Famile entspannte Pfingstferien am Atlantik zu verbringen. Das Haus liegt in einer durch Zaun und herrschaftliches Eisentor abgeschlossenen Anlage innerhalb des Praia d'el Rei Golf -und Beachressort. Die Anlage ist ca. 12 Jahre alt, toll gepflegt und gehegt und strahlt Chick und Eleganz aus. Sie verfügt über 3 große Gemeinschaftspools, die über die Anlage verteilt sind. Das Haus selbst liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Ecke der Anlage und entspricht voll und ganz den Vorstellungen, die man sich hier von Ihm machen kann. Es ist groß, sehr gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet, was man als Familie zum Leben braucht. Besonders angetan war ich von der Küchenausstattung, da ich es gerade in solchen Ferien genieße mit den frischen Produkten von den Märkten der Region selbst zu kochen. Die Vermieter sind wahnsinnig bemüht. Hiervon zeugt alleine schon ein fast 100 seitiges Skript mit Empfehlungen zum Einkaufen, Restaurants, Stränden, Besichtigungen, Aktivitäten und vielem mehr. Nachdem ich den empfohlenen Metzger (ein Muß) aufgesucht hatte, war mir auch klar, dass man den Empfehlungen der Vermieter ohne Zweifel Vertrauen kann. Auch wenn uns das Wetter in der zweiten Woche etwas im Stich gelassen hat - wir kommen wieder.
