This property is absolutely beautiful. We only had time for an overnight stay, but would highly recommend it for a longer stay. There is a steep walk up to the property, but there is just about everywhere in NZ. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and walking distance to the seals and penguins. Great place to stay.

Great little cottage!

Quite big cottage that is very comfortable for guests. The host gave a personal touch with a handwritten note with some local sweets. Great stay! Would recommend ☺️

Beautiful, Sweet Cottage

Loved our stay here. It is walking distance to the Victorian Precinct and many shops and cafes. Was very quiet at night. The cottage is so pretty...beautiful wallpaper, art, linen curtains, comfy hotel-style sheets and towels. We had everything we needed and it was very clean. There is even an ocean view from the lounge.

This was a great place to stay on our first night in NZ--quiet, clean, comfortable and the host was very responsive and welcoming. Pretty house, with all amenities. Easy walking distance to downtown and all attractions of Oamaru. Highly recommended.

Sunny house in the heart of Oamaru

Excellent stay. The house is only a few minutes walk from the centre of town and ideal for friends travelling together, with two lovely queen bedrooms. Comfy beds. Very spacious, clean and tidy. The deck is a great spot to sit outside.

Brilliant little house. Beautifully presented with everything we needed. The additional 2nd toilet was brilliant with 2 couples staying. Beds were super comfy and the location to explore the Victorian Quarter was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage

Period cottage close to historic area, nicely decorated, very clean, well-equipped and well kept. A few (minor) negatives - steep gravel driveway (can't walk down in flat bottom shoes), no toiletries (such as shampoo), and the washer/dryer is a combo unit so dryer is not vented and takes forever (fortunately, drying racks provided).

Brilliant location

This wee cottage is perfectly situated for the historic part of Oamaru. We were able to park up at the house and walk everywhere during the Heritage Festival. The drive is steep, but quite short. The views over the harbour to the ocean are lovely and one morning were were treated to a fantastic sunrise. The house is clean and well equiped. We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.
