We loved this house a great deal. We're local but wanted a night away, and this place was fantastic. It's on a dead-end road in a very quiet part of Alameda. There are three rooms with comfortable beds, with one room opening up to an enclosed porch with a single bed. the two front rooms share a jack & jill bathroom. There were plenty of places to just lounge and chat. There were two of the Edwardian-type bay windows with a couple chairs and a small table, which was perfect for sitting around & reading, plus some chairs on the porch, which was fun to hang out on. The back yard also has a lovely place to sit in the garden. The kitchen had great appliances, plenty of tableware/plates/cups/etc., and things like a coffee maker, along with emergency supplies like salt & spices in case you forgot any. The kitchen also had a table that seats 6, along with a tall table in the breakfast nook that seated 4. If you came with enough people to fill all the beds (there were only 5 of us), you'd still have plenty of places to be where you're not all crammed into one spot.
We loved it and will very likely come back.
