  • This wonderful Oak Island property features three bedrooms, including one king bed and two queen beds, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Guests will find two bathrooms equipped with showers and hair dryers for added convenience. The house stays comfortable year-round with heating and air conditioning. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or planning your next adventure, this nice space offers everything you need. We hope you enjoy what our place and Oak Island has to offer.

Perfection!! Absolutely our best vacation stay and Morgan is a dream! She thought of everything one could need to make for such an amazing vacation. As soon as you walk in you’re transformed into an island getaway and you find yourself immediately ready to melt into this gorgeous vacation home. The beds are beyond cozy, so supportive for those of you with bad backs (like me) and it slept better than my own bed which speaks volumes! And for you gals especially there’s so much closest space and bathroom storage space, it was so incredibly nice to unpack and spread out in style. And if you’re traveling with your family you’re in great shape with Morgan’s careful thought and attention to detail for individual needs. Everything was beyond clean and beautifully done with so many special touches from inside to out. She spared no expense and even the outside completes the vacation wish list… a saltwater pool, luxury lounges and even the most amazing screened in porch to wind down your day in style. The community and neighbors presented such a safe family environment, so quiet and peaceful. Even neighbors that we met were so wonderful. We felt completely safe and found ourselves not wanting to leave. I can’t possibly name all of the things that make this vacation rental so special but it starts with the most lovely host, Morgan. Thank you for an amazing stay!

I was a little skeptical about booking the Lazy Turtle because there wasn’t any reviews at the time of booking, but I’m so glad I did! The house was very clean and the decorations and things inside made it feel more like a home than a rental. All the beds were comfortable and everything seemed bigger than the pictures. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood. My daughter enjoyed riding the bikes provided up and down the street while I relaxed on the screened in porch. Even the floor of the deck has a screen underneath so it was completely mosquito free. There’s an overlook of the ICW at the end of the road with a little trail down to a sandy spot. My son drove his RC boat there and quite a few people were fishing. The pool is pretty deep for its size and both kids had a great time. We also rented the LSV to use while we were there and it made beach parking easy and it was fun to cruise around the neighborhood.
