Completely renovated, spacious contemporary house, short walk to the beach!

Welcome to GOODWAVES! Spacious rooms with a complete renovation awaits you. The house is situated on a double, private lot with plenty of parking and a short walk to the beach. The oversized rooms give you plenty of room to relax and enjoy.

The living room features a large comfortable couch with loveseat and a 65" TV with cable, HBO and Netflix. The vaulted ceilings and skylights keep it bright and cheerful. The kitchen features new appliances, fridge with ice maker, toaster oven, microwave, oven with cook top, dishwasher and coffee maker.

With two Master bedrooms with on-suite full bathrooms, a bunk room featuring a full lower and twin upper bunk bed, an X-Box gaming console with TV and plenty of games to keep the kids busy. The Master also has a desk, 50" TV, Washer/Dryer, cot and pack-n-play crib. The second master also has a 50" TV. There is a fourth room which can be used for storage.

The large backyard is fenced in for your pets and features a fire pit and corn hole. Plenty of beach toys available including skim/boogie boards, floats, beach chairs and a wagon. A golf cart with parking pass is also available for rent at $30 per day.

You will be a short drive from great restaurants, brew pubs, ice cream shops, grocery stores and mini-golf.

We had a great stay, and Kevin was a great host. He responded to all my questions about the area and brought over items that we needed. We rented the golf cart and feel like it was worth the extra cost. The beds were very firm (more than we like), but that is also a personal preference. This was our first experience renting a house, and won't be our last.

Oak Island Getaway

Hosts are very nice and checked in to make sure everything was good. They were extra kind in giving us a few extra hours on check-out morning. The house has a big fenced yard that worked very well for our two pups. The house is comfortable and located on a nice, shady residential street that was good for walks. We would definitely stay there again!

Great place to vacation

First off, communication with and tolerance of owners were amazing. Loved the lay out of house. Great house if traveling with elderly/ people with decreased mobility. Rollators cruise well within house and thru doorways. 1 step at house entrance and 1 step to screened porch. Queen bedroom- 1 bathroom along with washer/ dryer. This room has lots of floor space. The bathroom has standard toilet but does have 2 hand bars for walk in shower along with seat in shower. Other bathroom has 1 bar in shower, no seat, and has higher sitting toilet Couches may be difficult for elderly to raise from but the rest of us were great. Bar and dining table high with very comfy chairs. Large amount kitchen counter space. Even has 3 sharp knives..lol. Nice sized fenced in yard for dogs. Big windows and 3 sliding glass doors for lots of natural light.also have darkening curtains on slides and nice shades on windows in living area. We rented the golf cart. Very different rules than S.C. so not as much freedom but free to park with it at beach. Must use the seatbelts and be sure to use your child carseats if traveling with children. If drive to beach have to pay thru an app ( 5/hour or 20/day). We like soft beds so take foam pads because beds ate rather firm. I placed Walmart 2" foam pads on them and worked well. Great amount of parking. Rules ate different for NC than SC so be sure to read info in binder that is in house and read up on golf cart rules for N.C. Would definitely stay again!

New Vacation Spot

This was our first time visiting Oak Island and will not be our last. Kevin checked in several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The house had everything we needed and was a perfect location. Highly recommend this place!
