"Wonderful place to stay. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe as the cabin is located behind the owners house. I did not realize this from the description or I missed it but once there, I really did, like, the setup. You still feel secluded as you are surrounded by trees so you feel as ifyou have no neighbors. "Our family and dog had a great time during our stay. The cabin is beautifully updated and had everything we needed. It was close enough to Durham for a few day trips and far enough from everything else to really appreciate the surrounding nature. We spent time on the dock, in the hot tub, and by the fire pit. The pond was great for nature watching and we tried some fishing from the dock and had a few bites. Overall our kids enjoyed the space and we had a great time. "
