A delightful taste of old Colonial Sr Lanka

We had a lovely stay at this delightful bungalow which was the ex governors bungalow built 110 years ago. Very friendly staff who made our stay very comfortable preparing packed breakfast for our early start to Hortons Plains.

The service is very slow. A quick room service took them 2 hours to prepare and serve. However, the hotel itself is very cute and British style. A bit far from the lake but it is still nice

The room was quite cold and it could do with more heaters. Also, why have a fake fire that doesnt work when you could have one that does or a real one even? Overall, though great hotel!
