The hotel staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. However, as there was no one at the reception desk when I arrived, I had to wait about 40 minutes before I could check in.

Good location close to Nuuk centre, room OK and cleanliness could have been better. We stayed 7 days and asked according to guest book for a cleaning after 4 days. The cleaning was never done although we registered it in the guest book, and marked it on our door

6/10 Okay

The hotel was centrally located and perfect for a one night stay. My room was located on the first floor and I had one of the single occupancy rooms. The bed was comfy and the basic necessities were there for the one night stay. The room did smell like smoke even though signs were located in the room indicating no smoking. I opened the window to get the smokey, musky smell out and any time there was someone outside you can clearly hear them speaking. It was a bit loud. During check-in there was no one at the check-in desk and you had to dial a number to speak to someone on the phone to check you in. There are lockers located what felt like the rear entrance near picnic tables (southwest entrance and likely the front entrance). Our taxi dropped us off at the northeast entrance. The check-in person on the phone did not clearly explain where the lockers for the key fob were located. Also, late at night access is only available via the Southwest entrance where the picnic tables are. We tried to enter the other way and our key fobs weren't working. Would I stay here again? Yes. Now that I know the lay of the land, it was good.

Room was big. Staff was very helpful. Our flight was canceled and they did so much to help us stay an extra day helped us a lot with this. Also the cleaning lady was super nice and helped me a lot during the day. Great place for a family to stay in Nuuk.

Overall our stay in Nordbo City was great. It was easy to walk to all the central areas. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked. The windows were able to open to allow air to come in. There was laundry at the location as well, which was free. It is worth noting that checkin does not take place at the same location and the 2 locations are not close to each other. You are able to leave your luggage at the main location until checkin. Overall, it was a great stay and would recommend.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
The check-in process was terrible. No one in the lobby. I had to call another hotel to get a code for a key box which I did but was told to call back later as they were busy. Once I finally got the code and entered the room I decided to leave and find another accommodation. The room smelled terrible and not a chance I would stay there for a few nights. The stench would have been stuck to all my clothes. On my way out I met other people that asked me if my room smelled really bad. Later I saw them try to check into another hotel. Stay away from this location.

4 of us waited over 30 minutes for the man to come to reception to check us at 830pm. He walked in finally and didn't apologize for keeping us all waiting and was most unpleasant. Not a good welcome at all. Apartment was very good. It's annoying to not have anyone manning reception at all. I had no hot water and getting help was difficult.

Overall, a good stay. The room is smaller than what appears in the photo and is VERY basic. The bed is very small. The breakfast was supposed to be included, but the restaurant was closed. Centrally located, though everything is central in the small city. The front desk was very responsive.

This is a good option when you need a place to stay in the area. Remeber to get the pass code or you won't be able to get the room! Currently under renovations but it's not noisy or dusty/dirty. I'll stay there again.

Overall stay was fine. The room was fairly large and had what I needed. It was very clean with a stocked kitchen. Only concern was I didn’t get sent the key access code and there was no indication that reception was over a mile away.
