The room is small but very well designed to use all the space. The staff were all very helpful. The breakfast provided was very good. We ate at the restaurant one evening and had the reindeer which was perfectly prepared.

Very convenient location in downtown area. We downloaded a self guided walking tour of the area and really enjoyed that. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Our room was nice and what I would expect for the price point. Many cafes and restaurants in the area. If you get a chance to go to the National Museum and Archives we HIGHLY recommend it.

The hotel is not your typical hotel and it's definitely made and designed for function. I like how well maintained and clean the hotel is. The rooms range in size and I stayed in three different room types during my stay and enjoyed all three though booking a Polar room comes with more amenities. The location is central to everything and I was able to walk everywhere with ease. The two restaurants and bar were superb and upscale. The drinks and food are Top tier. Special thank you to Tisha and Chatchai at the bar for being great hosts and ambassadors for the hotel. I would highly recommend staying here for ckmfort and ease of access to everything.

I had interactions with Pouli, Felicia, and Tomas. Very polite and helpful individuals. All others were helpful and cheerful as well. My husband and I intend to return to Nuuk sometime in the future. Our stay then will also the Hans Egede. PS. We especially liked the breakfasts.

Centrally located. Had a happy hour in their sky bar. Rooms small but clean and well thought out. The metal steps to get into the hotel with bigger luggage was a negative; they should offer a ramp for those in need.

Loved being given an early check in - we arrived in the Port of Nuuk on a cruise ship and our hotel room was ready at 12 noon. Very pleasant and helpful person checked us in. Hotel is well located in Nuuk. Dinner at fish restaurant on first night was beyond memorable - tasting menu with paired wines, VERY attentive service by maître d’ and wait staff. Only complaints were warmth of room (too warm, couldn’t adjust) and essentially non existent room service after first night (garbage emptied, beds not made, dirty plate and cups not removed)

Friendly staff, good breakfast, 2 good restaurants in the building but you can see some wear and tear and some upgrades is needed. Check out is already at 10am which are at least 1 hour to early also linked to breafast closes at 10 so it becomes a rush

We enjoyed are stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The one problem we had, a plugged shower drain, was resolved quickly. The breakfast and staff were both very good. The restaurant that served steak was the best we had experienced in our 2 month trip through Europe from Romania to Greenland. The beef was cooked perfectly and was very tasty and easy to cut. We highly recommend anyone visiting HHE to dine there at least once. But make sure you have a reservation. The first night we were there we couldn’t get a table.

Great hotel but insanely small Rooms for the price. Nuuk has limited hotels and the features in the room were nothing special. Still it has two great restaurants and a good bar. It’s not a 5 Star hotel but it’s luxury for Greenland.
