"Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une météo excellente sur ce WE de l'ascension. Le terrain était pratiquement sec, il était possible de profiter des extérieurs, les enfants ont pu se baigner, aller à la pêche, jouer au baby foot... Un bémol sur la septième chambre difficile d'accès, sur le trampoline sans filet. Gite très agréable à vivre, propriétaires accueillants."

"Sejour très reposant, cadre seule verdure , animaux. Le logements est moyens. Literie a revoir impérativement vieux . Éclairage salle de bains en haut inexistant. Propreté dans sont jus de campagne pas très gênant vu le contexte. En revanche aucune porte ne ferme surtout les toilettes. Le personnel en revanche est vraiment accueillant et sympathiques. "

C'est calme, apaisant et ressourçant! "Le Chaussis is one of the best equipped self-catering houses we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve been to a great number in the last 45 years! Spotlessly clean, very comfortable accommodation, beds and bathrooms all a good size, beautiful kitchen/diner and wonderful sitting room with great wood burner. Celine, is a delightful and very proactive owner. The only thing I would say is that if you book through Vrbo, you have to deal with a number of other 3rd parties (Poplidays and Gites de France)...

"Friendly, welcoming staff. On site, free parking. Room clean, comfy bed, good shower. Delucious evening meal and breakfast. Good value for money. Good location for local sights, supermarket and fuel."

"Really peaceful, lovely rooms and a warm welcome. Really good continental breakfast. There was even a kettle and decent teabags! This hotel is excellent value for money. Immaculately clean, lovely bathrooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable - modern rooms but in keeping with the traditional rustic building. The hotel has an honesty bar where you can get a beer (but not much else) although there's no drinks or facilities to make bake a drink in the rooms. The village itself is very quiet - nothing to do apart from go for a walk. The next village along, Brulon, had a few more restaurants/cafes. We ate in the restaurant next to the hotel - worth booking ahead as it didn't look like they did walk-ins. The hotel booked us a table the day before we arrived. We would definitely stay here again and wish we'd stayed more than one night - if you're looking for a comfortable, peaceful overnight stopover, this hotel is perfect."
