"All staff were amazing, from initial check-in on Friday March 6th to the Kitchen (fantastic Scrambled Eggs) and I want to make particular mention to Tina from Reception who is an absolute superstar! Tina went out of her way to assist me in finding Gluten Free Dining options including telling me about the various local dishes, drinks and the best places to go. Her manor and demeanour is incredibly professional and she deserves to be recognised for her exceptional customer service skills."

"Location was perfect - central pedestrian area. Staff was excellent and so helpful and kind. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful too, as was reception treats in evening. "

"The room was basic but lovely, clean and spacious. The bathroom also was clean and very large! The views were stunning, the river and the castle. The only slight downside is the walls are incredibly thin, so you will hear whatever is happening in the room next to you, even if they are clearing their throat in the morning…."

" Horrific hotel experience, couldn’t stay due to a personal emergency, the hotel decided to keep all of the money despite us encountering a personal tragedy and not actually being able to stay, no compassion, robotic Inhuman response to a guests at a personally sad time. The hotel itself also is not desirable, dirty, stained furniture. The river view room, neglects to mention that you can see the river but the view predominately is of the coach and car park, the room is above a food court so the smell if you choose to use the balcony is overbearing and festering, if you suffer from asthma or breathing difficulties this Could be a problem. Tourist trap with no care for guests. "

"Very friendly staff, modern and clean room, very large bathroom and walk-in shower. Breakfast had a good selection of things, though the scrambled eggs were a bit rubbery (the hazards of pre-making things and leaving them in a chafing dish for a long time) "

"We were greeted warmly. The staff were friendly & kind. The room was clean & comfortable. The breakfast selection was varied & plentiful. Parking was easy. Location was good for us. An easy 45 minute walk to the centre."
