"Rooms very beaten down, marks on walls, paint peeling off bathroom door. I understand you get what you pay for as it was cheap but the rooms could have been cleaner, there was loads of spider webs above windows and all on ceiling. Had 2 power cuts during the night. At least bed was comfortable "

The staff were super friendly, the rooms have recently been refurbished and the room I stayed in was beautiful. This is now my new favourite place to stay in the area and I will be back. Thank you. "This is a stunning property in a wonderful rural location, in driving distance to lots of attractions. The house is huge - but it's decor and the feel are comfortable and comforting. The real open fires were very welcome addition during our February stay, and I've honestly never slept so well. There is everything you could need in the kitchen, big fridge freezer, big range cooker, dishwasher - all the pans, crockery etc. There isn't a hairdryer provided, and when we were there the iron didn't work, but those are minor details! Well signposted walks from the doorstep in every direction. Loved it."

"The cottage is only 20 minutes drive from the National Watersports centre where we were watching a regatta. So very convenient for that, but also a peaceful spot in an historic village, lovely dog walks nearby, pub with good food within walking distance. Interior of Bunny church worth seeing too. Cottage was extremely clean and had all we needed, very clear instructions sent by host."
