"The hotel itself is great - everything you need for a good price. However, it is in an incredibly rough area of Hamburg & would warn against staying here for any female solo travellers. Felt very unsafe as soon as I left the building even though it was just a 10 min walk to the station."

"Overall it was a nice hotel. Quite room and good bed, pillows, shower, etc. The downside is that you have to travel a distance for food and it’s not so clear where to go. You will get your steps in or be hailing taxis. Given my travel plans, I was happy with the stay and proximity to the rail station."

"It is a good plane hotel, perfectly comfortable and well equipped for an old wheelchair user. The Parking garage reached by the lift was a bonus. It is a bit too far for us to walk to sites but the red hop on hop off bus stops just outside every 30 minutes in the high season. We were passing by car from UK and I wanted to revisit Hamburg where I lived for a year 65 years ago. It worked well for us and many younger people too."
